We were on the road for 4 weeks. Rather low budget, I'm used to rudimentary accommodation and find it sufficient. I've survived without air conditioning. They can still be clean, tidy and hospitable.We certainly had a rather older double bungalow with a connecting door. Perfect with children.Per:Friendly welcome from the manNice men as conditionsGood bedsQuick help with a broken toiletDelicious muesliGood poolBest locationSurfingCons-No hooks for mosquito nets (We were able to make do as we often do with creativity and clothes lines, cupboard doors and holes.- Unresolvable smell of toilet in one of the bathrooms.- Dirty fridge- Room cleaning very rudimentary. Beds were made, but they were adamant that we didn't want a shared blanket and that the beds shouldn't be put together. The children were sometimes missing a towel, sometimes a sheet. The bathroom or room wasn't wiped once in 10 days. Just swept. I noticed this because my one contact lens had accidentally fallen next to the trash. Then after 8 days it was still stuck. (Test) I sprayed the bathroom clean every day with the toilet sprayer.- No broom 🧹 to sweep the sand out yourself.- The sinks were not wiped. Since the children had their own bathroom, I saw it there because of the unchanged trail of sand on the sink. I did it myself.- Kettle for instant coffee available. But a socket?? Either pull out the refrigerator or build a tower out of two bedside tables so that the plug is long enough.- As others have already mentioned, I have not seen such an inflexible employee (manager?) of the restaurant the entire trip. Each time we asked for 2 jams (always strawberry) with 2 toasts for the children. It was hard not to believe in stubbornness or stinginess.- Instant coffee in the restaurant with powdered milk for 60 BHT. I thought I was crazy. This evaporated coffee waste in the restaurant?- The waitresses are helpful, friendly but really slow and even with 5 people there are 2-4 mistakes when ordering in the evening. We gave them a chance, but we always ate somewhere else.None of the women felt like they were having fun - I think most of them spent the whole day looking at their cell phones.- There was another reason why I couldn't understand why many of the employees felt like they were spending their time in the off-season. The beach condition- A fantastic beach. But unfortunately more or less littered every day. Unfortunately, all of our civilized waste completely litters the beaches of Koh Lanta. And what shocks me is that the Thais largely don't care. The section of the resort was cleared of flotsam once in 10 days. From wood. Plastic. Styrofoam, shoes, bottles, strings, etc. Stay lying there. We had to climb over it to get to the water. Depending on the wind, it was free of debris or you had to be careful with wood.- I wonder what's going on with the garbage disposal. It is well known that this is a problem in Thailand because there is a lack of awareness and organization, not to mention prevention, of disposal and recycling.- My children had enough of one day and cleaned the beach.Very important: the Bigbangbar is not part of the restaurant. They do get their alcoholic drinks from there, but they have their own people and a different flair. The bar is great, lovingly designed, nice operators, value for money is good (cocktails are otherwise often mixed too thin in Thailand)We had a good time because we're pretty good at taking things as they are. We didn't feel like looking for something else. It was really cheap. I won't let it spoil my mood either, Koh Lanta is worth a trip and we had a great time. I'm not concerned with comfort etc. I'm concerned with stinginess, materiality and a lack of cleanliness that I wouldn't otherwise experience in Thailand.

We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights.The staff in the restaurant provide very good service and are always ready to help and make recommendations. We have a mother in a wheelchair and a younger male employee always asking questions. The employees here are lovely and smiling. The view is very beautiful. The sunset is even more beautiful. The food is delicious. We will come to visit again.

A fantastic beach awaits you here!The complex is okay, a bit outdated but well maintained with a pool and gardens, price performance is okay except for...A booking including breakfast is not so fantastic or recommended.Breakfast is only available on a menu, the buffet was lovingly covered with tablecloths and deviations from the menu and "extras" such as water cost completely normal. (20 Baht, normal but not so “inclusive”, right?)When I asked whether it was possible to get two slices of toast with egg and jam with my muesli, I was again asked to pay extra. After friendly discussions on several occasions over three days, there was unfortunately no possibility of a compromise, which I find very unfortunate.I have never had a situation like this on my trip through Thailand; I have always been treated with kindness and great hospitality.I was one of three guests alongside another couple and my wishes weren't too much to ask ;) and to make his guests happy with a simple breakfast, especially since it was paid for. Unfortunately, I was left with the impression that it was not important to let the guests start the day happily. (Just two slices of toast, an egg and a jar of jam).The room was just okay, the toilet seat was installed incorrectly or simply didn't fit on the pot. There are mold spots on the ceiling, the basic cleanliness was given, but for 4 nights I only received room service upon request, at least the garbage could be disposed of. I just don't think the price-performance ratio is good due to the breakfast rip-off situation.I probably won't be coming here again, it's a shame!

Beautifully located on the beach front in Koh Lanta, this resort should be a lot better than it is. The rooms were shabby and not very clean. Used old ripped and ragged sheets. The bathroom was chipped and toilet flush didn’t work well. Staff only cleaned the room once in our 4 day stay. The breakfast was the typical Insipid ham floating in water with a frankfurter and cold fried egg. The swimming pool was very murky as well.
