We spent a wonderful, quiet and relaxing week at the Payam Valley Hotel in one of the beautiful, slightly older wooden houses at the back of the garden. There was always a little wind blowing over the spacious veranda. The room and bathroom are nice and bright and spacious.The food in the attached restaurant was great, so we tried a lot of dishes and drinks there. Without exception very tasty! Among other things, many great Burmese dishes.All the staff were very caring, helpful and friendly.In the kitchen we were able to get a large 20 liter water container for little money.It was only a few minutes walk to the beach - no problem.Well-maintained mopeds can be rented directly there for 200 B. per day (March 2024).Absolutely recommended!

There are always people in the hotel industry who make a place special. The manager of this resort is one of them. You can find her everywhere, in the breakfast service in the morning, at reception during the day, cooking delicious meals in the kitchen in the evening, and in between you can always hear her calling out "gugu" 😅. Her workload is gigantic. Many thanks for the warm conversations!

I have not stayed here but the food is amazing! All of the Myanmar food I have tried is delicious and not too oily or spicy. The chef can make any dish vegetarian which is an added plus.

Bungalow we stayed (with AC) in was perfect, interior is very thought through with all the details to feel very cosy. Huge bathroom! It’s located in a peaceful place, not too far away from the nearest beach. Also, the staff is very pleasant and sweet.The down side is that rooms are not being cleaned (not fussed about deep clean, just expect bins and towels to be changed). We stayed there 9 days, and only after asking twice, it was cleaned.

It's ok, no wifi reception in the bungalow, you have to go to the restaurant🤔😬 you definitely have to rent a scooter at the harbor, you have to be mobile otherwise you'll end up with your legs under your arms

So without a scooter you can't do anything, the WiFi only works in the restaurant, room service is limited, that shouldn't be an issue given the prices, otherwise it's friendly. Thai style

Booking on the website says there is air conditioning. When we arrived, the room had air conditioning but it was for viewing only. Can only use the fanIn conclusion, the use of the air conditioner is prohibited and the WiFi cannot be used. Not okay at all.If not, use the air conditioner. It would be better to make a room without air conditioning.Very disappointed that booking on the website said there was air conditioning. But when I arrived, I was told that this price does not allow using the air conditioner.And what's worse than the air conditioner is the WiFi. It's up to full capacity but can't be used at all. It's like it's falsely displayed. But really, it's no different from none.The only thing I like is the width of the bathroom.

Top notch staff. The restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced compared to its neighbor the Rabbit Hotel. Just that the rooms are quite dark and bathrooms with inadequate lighting and water not very hot...

We didn't stay there, we just went to have some drinks. The coffee was delicious, but I found the prices too high. We also asked for something to eat, and they didn't remember to bring it. My ideal grade would be a 3.5. Even so, the place is very cozy and the people who run it are very friendly.
