My stay at Martin and Noi’s resort was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Martin and Noi welcomed me with such warmth and friendliness that I instantly felt at home. Their genuine hospitality truly sets this place apart.I stayed for two weeks and can confidently say I will be returning on my next visit to the island. The atmosphere was relaxing and the accommodations were top-notch. Additionally, I made a new friend in Millie, their sweet and friendly dog, who added a special touch to my stay.If you’re looking for a welcoming and comfortable place to stay, with hosts who go above and beyond, this is the place to be. Unfortunately, a terrible experience... We had to ask for a room upgrade because the basic bungalow was really unlivable... Not that it went much better with the superior one... (No TV, safe and only one towel for the shower and face). .. From the drain pipe you can see the lawn below... They didn't redo our room for three days, and when I went to ask why they only managed to tell me that whoever cleaned it had already left... moreover if you Should you happen to stay there, DO NOT rent scooters there in front, they will steal your deposit

No doubt just book it! We stayed here for 4 nights. We spent most of our time here chilling on our porch soaking up the relaxed atmosphere. Beach is the right outside of your doorstep.Noi and Martin are wonderful hosts! We had a few meals here and everything was delicious. We actually loved their Thai food, omg.. it was like staying at Auntys and having her food.Hire a motor bike from Klong's and drive around the island.Thank you for having us Noi and the fam. See you again soon!

I always come back to this beautiful resort. There is a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in a small, green paradise. I also cured a cold here this year and couldn't imagine a more relaxing environment for it. The bungalows have everything you need for simple happiness and - my favorite place - a terrace with a chair and a hammock. Much has recently been renewed, repaired and improved with attention to detail. There is now more furniture in the bungalow - table, chair, shelf, even a refrigerator. I am extremely satisfied. Access to the beach is direct - the resort is not closed off anywhere. Noy, Martin, the family, the employees - they all act cautiously and very friendly for the well-being of their guests. The food is exceptionally good and tastes great. It is always freshly prepared under top hygienic conditions and is of superior quality to the usual standard. The restaurant is located right on the water and the view is unique. It's really worth coming here. Noy and Martin are open, always approachable and extremely helpful even in emergency situations. Last but not least, I had really good, even funny conversations with both of them. It's not hard to find a open mind here. I'm always happy that I can spend such a lovely holiday here at such an affordable price. Heart, soul and body can really relax here. Thank you

Amazing place. Great rooms. Great food. Plenty of nearby options for food and nightlife. Motorbike rental nearby. The motorbike people even helped us arrange an early ride to the pier, when we returned the bike. All in all, I had a great time staying here.

A very beautiful and lovely place.It's in a pretty quiet neighborhood but there are some restaurants and shops nearby.Noi is a very nice host who takes care of the garden and the overall looks of the place with so much devotion. The place was always well cleaned and presentable.We absolutely fell in love with Millie, the host family's dog. Such a sweetheart! At night she sat in front of our bungalow's door to keep us safe (not that she needed to though). Next time on Koh Phangan we'll come back there!

After 4 nights at Haad Yao, we moved down to - for us - a new beach. Due to good reviews, we chose Phangan Rainbow Bungalows.We immediately noticed that down here at Bankai Beach, July is "Low Season in Low Season". In addition, a lot of wind and rain had been forecast, so many of the beach restaurants had closed.(Unfortunately, the restaurant at Phangan Rainbow also had the same - but they served breakfast)We were met by a very nice Noi (Noy?) who apologized (!) for the bad weather that had been forecast. We checked into a clean and nice Beachfront bungalow with balcony (2 chairs, table and hammock), fridge, a table and 1 chair - no kettle (but we were allowed to borrow!), 1 double bed and 1 single bed - the single bed was used as storage space as there are no cupboards and wall hooks.A shower (in a bathtub) with good pressure - delicious! (Must run a little before the hot water comes on).The predicted and long-awaited rain came (it hasn't rained here for several months) - and then (also extremely nice) Martin came over with an umbrella for us.On this side of the island, the water recedes (more?) now in the summer. It rises slightly in the evening but it is very shallow and not so suitable for swimming at this time of year. Martin says that the water goes all the way up to the restaurant in winter.We mostly used the restaurants on the street for lunch and dinners. We chose to walk (more exercise = more Chang) but clearly an advantage with a scooter. Taxis on the street. ATM and "supermarket" 10 minutes' walk.Nina's Coffee shop just up the street will do and so do all the local Thai restaurants we tried. The shallow water also makes long walks on the beach a breeze.Despite the weather forecast - there was some sun in the last few days and then we got to test the sunbeds at the resort!We had 4 lovely and relaxing days/nights here at Phangan Rainbow Bungalows. Noi and Martin are just lovely and we can recommend the place 110%.We would love to come again - maybe around Easter time!Jane & Lars

If you’re intending to go to the Fullmoon Party, don’t stress about staying in Haad Rin.Phangan Rainbow Bungalows is just a quick ride away from both Haad Rin and Thong Sala, which are the busy areas of Koh Phangan.The location of the Bungalows is absolutely perfect. It is very quiet, and therefore nice to enjoy the absence of partying noise. The restaurant is located right at the beach, so I found myself spending hours in the restaurant relaxing and enjoying the view.The fact that it is family-owned made the stay even more enjoyable. The family gives you a lot of personal space, but you still get to know them and talk to them if you want. During our stay, there were two pit bulls roaming the grounds. The female pit bull is extremely friendly, while the male likes to be left alone. The family informed us when we checked in that we should leave the male alone.The bungalow was clean, but had some small insects roaming inside.Each bungalow is equipped with a hammock, which makes the sunset evenings absolutely amazing.I really recommend this place, it is truly relaxing and will save you a good amount of money.

The complex is very nice and quiet. We had direct beach and sea views. Our room was great. You can rent mopeds cheaply next door. Noi's family is soooo amazing, warm hearted and the food is fabulous. Martin may be a little grumpy in the morning, but he doesn't bite :)

Absolute best hostel to stay in if you're attending the Full Moon party.Has a massive pool for the pre-party and right on the beach, literally opens up right onto the party (not the best option if you want a quiet night in a early sleep, I got back in at 3am and passed out but the party went on all the way until sunrise).I stayed one night just for the Full Moon party and couldn't have asked for a better hostel. Big, comfy beds, strong AC.
