All right, this hotel is perfect.... especially go for Giuseppe who will give you useful advice on how to get around this beautiful island.... located in an area between the center of Chaweng and the beautiful beaches …

The hotel is great. We stayed there for 5 nights and were very satisfied. The room was nice and big and clean, the large balcony invited you to linger, the bathroom (and the water pressure) were great. The room cleaning took place every 2 days, which was completely sufficient.The host is a very warm and helpful person.We'd love to come back.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience at Gecko Hotel deserves it. A huge thank you to Giuseppe, the owner, for his extraordinary kindness. He went above and beyond during my stay. I had accidentally booked two rooms, and after me cancelling the reservation he still offered to save the room for me.Giuseppe greeted me with warmth and great advice on local spots like scooter rentals, instantly making me feel at home. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, especially for airport access. I’m especially grateful for Giuseppe offering to drive me to the airport for my early flight, it could’ve been harder to find a driver that early and would’ve probably been more expensive.Every time I texted him, he responded right away. There was a time my phone stopped working and I needed my boarding pass for my flight the next morning and Giuseppe didn’t hesitate to help and printed it for me.I’m definitely coming back to Gecko Hotel. It’s not just the place, but the people like Giuseppe that made my stay very memorable.

Pepe is a super friendly host. The room was clean and we had a pleasant stay. The beds were fine and the bedding is clean and fresh. The shower is 1a and the equipment is very modern! The balcony is very large and comfortable. The rooms are cleaned every 2 days, which is completely sufficient for me. Water/coffee are not provided, but there is a 7eleven 100m away and room service is also available.Pepe was kind enough to pick me up from another Rent a Bike and take me back to the hotel and then organize a cheap taxi for us to the pier. His wife is also there and is also super nice. Can only recommend this hotel, especially for the price! We'll be back, see you soon!

A good hotel for the money, a very nice owner, you can negotiate a long-term rental with him, there will be a very good discount, you can also rent bikes. Very fast internet, which is rare for Southeast Asia.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were contactable when we arrived via telephone. We had a room on the top floor with a balcony, facing the road. There was a kettle, microwave, fridge, wardrobe with hangers, safe in the room, WiFi, aircon, an electric fan and cutlery. We found this great as we could make our own snacks / refreshments. The beds were hard and I could feel the springs in my ribs on occasions but still slept fairly well. Shower is powerful. Complimentary bottle of water on arrival and rooms were cleaned every other day. The only downside to this hotel is the location it’s a bit of a walk from the bo phut beach fisherman’s village and also on a main road which can be quite dangerous when walking around but we found it okay. Would recommend if you are looking for something cheap and cheerful.

Very good budget hotel. Located within a 25 minute walk to the fisherman’s village and it’s adjacent beach.Noise isn’t an issue even though it’s on a main road.The rooms are well equipped with a fridge, some cutlery, a kettle and microwave. The rooms are very clean.The air con and fans work great. The Italian owner is very friendly.There are some good local restaurants in land to the east. Turn left out of the hotel and take your first right about a 10 minute walk. It’s also close to a couple of supermarkets.

Well appointed modern rooms. Everything you need and in a great location. Can walk to many shops with a 10 minute ride to Chaweng or Fisherman's Village.Owner is very friendly and looks after the hotel with pride.Well recommended

The most altruistic, kind and friendly hotel manager. Giuseppe is really helpful, understanding and take care a lot of the well being of his hosts. He provides you lots of helpful and interesting informations on the island. Moreover, the room and motorbike renting was awesome. The room is really clean and we feel good there, the bed is extremely confortable, and there was a kitchen in the room that is quite a chance for the price. Unfortunately, because of a familial issue, I have to go back as soon as possible in my country. I had rented and payed the motorbike and the room for one month and Giuseppe and his friend Guido refunded me the fees. They really didn't have to and this proves their kindness and altruism. I sincerely recommend this hotel and hope to have the chance to return. Thank you a lot for your kindness ☀️🌸

Stayed here for 2 months. Bed was good quality, internet is cable, fast speeds. There's a long Ethernet cable so you don't need your own. Apartment at the top floor has a big 40 inch tv, bigger than the TV's in the other apartments. Makro and Big C very nearby and convenient. Central location so all the beaches are not too far away.I recommend Federicos pizza restaurant nearby.

The owner is really nice and helpful. We were able to book a scooter directly at the hotel. The owner gives you lots of tips for excursions.The rooms are large, clean and modern.Highly recommended!
