The smiles and exaggeratedly flattering greetings ended when we saw through Booking that they had rooms with sea views cheaper than ours and we asked for a change, since ours had views of the noisy road. The bathroom was much worse than in the photos.They told us over and over again that there were no rooms available despite showing them in person. The worst of all is that they got angry and were never nice to us again, we didn't understand that attitude.We stayed 3 nights and they never cleaned. The blankets to cover you were old towels, just as you read. Regrettable.When it was time to leave, we asked the reception for a taxi, like so many other times in different accommodations, but they told us to look for one on the street.After spending several days there we realized that there were many better options.

DON'T COME, they are scammers. We rented a motorcycle from them, we have taken it 3 times in the 2 days we have been there and they have told us that we made the scratches they had and they did not want to return our passport, and they also asked us for 1000 THB. They withheld our passport and started talking to us horribly, threatening to call the police. They are scammers. Apart from this, the motorcycle the night before was not working because its SmartKey was deconfigured and we could not start it, so we met with it the next day to start it with another key together. The next day we got up, we went to the motorcycle's place and it was not there, the motorcycle had disappeared. It turns out that she had gone alone to look for her without telling us anything, leaving us scared, thinking that something had happened to her. All because they want to get our money from wherever.

A quiet location that is a minute's walk from the main street of Tong Sala. The hotel's private beach is amazing. The rooms themselves are large, spacious, there is a kitchen (!!!), a comfortable bed, lots of privacy. Each bungalow has a large balcony with a sofa and a hammock to relax in front of the view. The shower is not very comfortable but clean so that's what matters. The owner of the place helped us a lot to find our way around the area and he is really nice and tells a lot of jokes. There are cute cafes, a large market, lots of shops around the hotel. A place for a couple/ a couple with a small child who are looking for peace.

It is a resort with a good atmosphere next to the sea. The accommodation is private and clean. In the room there is a kitchen and basic equipment in the kitchen as well. Strong wifi. The owner is very cute and friendly and warm. Resort entrance near Makro 7-Eleven, laundry shop, restaurant, boxing stadium.

Dave and his wife are excellent hosts. The bungalows are spacious and they are equipped with a small kitchen. I had an amazing time there, highly i highly recommend staying in Tropicana.

Really like this place a lot. The owner is lovely. Super laid back vibes. Quiet neighborhood, right on the beach, most of the rooms have an ocean front view, if you need something get a hold of the owner directly. Don't touch the black dog

Very spacious bungalows located right on the beach. The location is good overall, but it will be better to rent a bike in order to get around easily. Each bungalow has a nice balcony with a seating area and a hammock. Air conditioning worked but not the best one I’ve seen.Great value for money and really enjoyed our stay!

Very cozy and spacious bungalows with everything you need, I would specially recommend it for longer stays. There is a small kitchen with all the dishes, a blender, small oven, kettle, pans etc. The place is very quiet, there is a very cute terrace with a hammock that I loved to chill at. The owner is very nice and warm! He will even drive you to the pier early in the morning, if you're leaving the island, for a small fee. If you're driving a scooter, location is kinda in the middle of the island so pretty good! Recommended!

Right on the beach. The delux is literally right on the beach. They offer scooter rentals.Very stiff / hard bed.I recommend renting a scooter near the pier and taking a short drive to the resort. The turn to the resort from the main road is the 7-Eleven.Good value. My only complaint is on light bulb was out. Too dim of lighting. 4 starsHas more of a local feel than a chain hotel feel.

Clean rooms, even if only cleaning every four days. Shower is a shower head in the middle of the bathroom, not a separate area. Takes some getting used to, but totally okay. Helpful contacts, clean and beautiful grounds, great location.Would book here again.

Best value-price we found in the island. We stayed for 20 nights and really enjoyed it, was like our home. You have sea view from the bungalow balcony, direct access to the beach, and your own kitchen if you like to cook. At 5 min walk you have the main street with supermarkets, stores and restaurants. The staff was so helpful, thank you Preeda for everything!

Although a little tired in the building sense. The location on the beach was for us fantastic, great to sit on the porch and laze around. Loads of utensils and cooking devices in the kitchen, great WiFi. Really helpful owner, who gave us a lift to the pier, Macro and 7-11 shopping are 2 minutes walk. Some great bars and restaurants nearby, and we could walk to thonhsala in about 15 minutes. We would go again. 👍👍😃
