Decided to do my open water dive training and got paired with a brilliant instructor Lukas. Was definitely tough at first but gradually you improve dive by dive. The staff and Lukas were all super friendly, if you ever needed anything or perhaps wanted to go over things again they will.If you haven’t dived before, there really isn’t a better place to do it.

Hostel is pretty much what you’d expect, staff are very friendly and I can’t recommend the diving course enough, massive thanks to Jenny our instructor for our open water course had plenty of patients with us, explained things very clearly, couldn’t have anyone better to teach me my open water diving

My sister and I both completed dive courses at Escape Divers and had a fantastic experience. My sister was new to diving and so did her open water course, I did my refresher and advanced course (including deep, wreck, buoyancy, navigation and night dive). We also got an excellent deal on a 10 dive package so we did a lot of diving! The centre were very accommodating and flexible to suit our schedules. A particular shout out to our amazing instructors Jenny, Ethan and Zac for bringing out the best in us and making it super fun at the same time. You could tell they all loved what they do and had a passion go diving and the marine environment. I thoroughly recommend them for any and all diving experience!

We booked in total 36 FUN Dives with Escape Divers and had a great time. The equipment is good and also a nice boat. Special thanks for making our time awesome to Cherry, Patrick, Ethan and Zac!You guys are amazing and did such a great Job leading the dives.We can totally recommend booking any Dive package with Escape Divers.Their special offer on the 10 Fun Dive Package for only 5,400 TB is crazy and makes it the cheapest in whole Koh Tao.We also stayed a few days in the Hostel which made it easier for the morning dives starting at 6:30.

As a dive school, the people working there and on the boat are great. Special mention to Jenny who is the best dive instructor I have worked with. Extremely good technically and can still have such fun whilst on and off our dives!

I am reviewing the dive centre, not the rooms.If you want to learn diving and not simply go diving then Escape are fantastic. I’ve done Padi and BSAC but remained uncertificated. I learnt more about planning a dive than I’ve done before. The staff in the office are really attentive and answer all enquiries speedily. The training staff are completely professional but know how to make it enjoyable. I’ve had a fantastic week up from zero to Explorer 30. 10/10

I only stayed here so am only rating it as a hostel not as a dive school. From what i’ve heard, the dive school is fantastic.However, the hostel is just ok.❤️They provided a fridge and drinking water which was fantastic.❤️My room had AC and three fans❤️It is on the more affordable end of the spectrum for hostels in this area (which is still more expensive than other areas of Thailand, but I guess that’s just Koh Tao)❤️The staff were friendly💔The bunk beds have no curtains, and the top bunk has no barrier so it feels as though you could roll out onto the floor.💔The atmosphere when I was there was not that nice. People were a bit rude in the dorm and there was someone sleeping at every hour of the day so you had to be quiet always.💔The bathrooms gave you little privacy. They were fine.Overall, this hostel is fine. A solid 4 stars. But the lack of curtains and barriers on the bed was the real issue for me.

I stayed for 3 days, the rooms are clean, you have your locker and air in the room, the mattresses are hard, I did not have much contact with the service, they told me where my bed was and that was it, the water was cut off at 10:30 p.m. 6am, good location for the port.

Did the Open Water 20 Certificate with Ethan, he’s such a relaxed guy, who is very enthusiastic about diving and you recognize that in the way he teaches, very orientated to the practical parts of diving. 100% to go dive with them.
