Pi3 Beach Resort

Great stay here for a week! The staff and the manager is so nice and helpful! The place is located directly on the beach which is a huge advantage! You can also use the beach facilities for free. They offer free water refill which is amazing helping reduce plastic usage. The room is also nice but daily cleaning and maintenance can makes the place much better

I’m not actually a guest at this hostel/hotel but I stumbled across it on the beach and I wished I had stayed here! The bar is situated right on the beach and the staff really go out there way to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. They have a great cosy spot with a large sofa(great wall art if you wanna get those insta pics in), a mixture of Thai & western food and great cocktail list. The guy that works here even gave me a cocktail on the house, cheers to that! Definitely recommend and will be coming here to chill for the rest of my trip ✌🏼(‼️ disclaimer, the owner did NOT ask me to write this review in return for a free drink (I know some hostels do that) he bought it over out of the blue after a couple of conversations with him and as it was an overall great experience I decided to do it myself, I don’t usually write reviews ‼️)

I spent 3 nights here. Wake up with an amazing view it's priceless. Clean room, good cocktails. I will come back for sure.

The boss and the employees are very friendly.The location is really perfect as everything can be reached on foot (in just a few minutes).Unfortunately, the shared room is a disaster because no cleaning is done there. The floor was dirty and the edge of the wall above my bed had been used as an ashtray. The toilet is in a niche in the room and has no door. Only a broken folding door hangs broken on the side. The sink and shower were dirty.I had a broken paint job as a ceiling.The view of the sea and the one provided free of charge was unbeatableLay. The beanbags, the music and the furnishings downstairs invite you to chill out.

Great place to be. Right on the beach. Relaxed vibe. Great for singles and couples.

The big plus is the location, the view. The rooms on the other hand are not very clean and even if it is a right-handed person there is no privacy it is much too small for 6 people

I had the most amazing stay at Pi3 Beach. My room, the luxury suit, looked right out on to our private section of the sea. It was very clean with a great shower. The food was delicious, traditional Thai, with good options at a great price. There are comfy sunbeds with umbrellas on the soft sandy beach outside.Lamai is a nice part of Koh Samui, plenty of amenities but not too busy like the party place Chaweng, which is a short drive away for nights out. The sea is perfect for swimming here too unlike Chaweng where it's very shallow until far out.My hosts, Ian and Oguz were perfect tour guides. They took me to a nearby Waterfall called Na Muang which I highly recommend!And if that doesn't sell it for you, Pi3 Beach even have a resident cat called Mia and her tiny 2 week old Kitten, Daisy!I'd give it 6 stars if I could!

Positive: The location was great! The bed was also quite comfortable. Right on the beach. The air conditioning (generally the technology) was quite modern. WiFi worked.Negative: Unfortunately the accommodation was not clean at all. All of the walls had stains that really wouldn't be difficult to paint over. Joints were crumbling, the shower was sandy, the floor on the separate toilet could have been swept.As soon as we arrived we had to ask for new paint; brown-yellow stains were visible on it. The towels were also stained.But the height was the toilet. It was very greasy so there was still sunscreen left on it. I was first allowed to clean the toilet with disinfectant wipes. I don't think the accommodation was really cleaned before we arrived.We were traveling as a German couple.

Pi3 honest review:Location on the beach: 10/10 You can't get any closer to the beach. Views are indescribable.Location taking into account that there are parties left, right and every day (!!!!) in the hotel: 0/10 If you want to sleep before 2:00 a.m., you should avoid the hotel, even when the neighboring bars are closed If you do it, it could be that some stoned idiot/employee in the hotel plays the same musical number for hours so that you don't have any peace and quiet. We were only able to sleep before midnight within 2 weeks, recovery factor zero!!!!!!! Headaches: Daily!!!!Cleanliness 1- Beach: 0/10 If you run a hotel you are also responsible for the corresponding section of the beach. I'm ashamed to have a room in the only dirty section. Nobody thinks of cleaning the beach. Would take about 10 minutes, or as the staff here calculates, the time needed to build 2 joints. Someone will clean the beach at some point or not, it doesn't matter to the guys.Cleanliness 2 rooms: 2/10 Within a week, rooms were 'cleaned' twice, i.e. fresh bedding and towels, rubbish taken away and swept. What wasn't done: sink, mirror, new garbage bag, toilet paper, balcony door,...Service: 0/10 If you lie on the beach, none of the 3 (!) employees care about you. You are ignored for hours, you are allowed to put up your own umbrella.Breakfast is served from 9:00 a.m. to around 11:00 a.m., but no one comes to work before 10:00 a.m. or someone is still sleeping on the couch. Cocktails are overpriced and taste like fruit juice with lots of water. The employees are mainly busy rolling and smoking joints. It seems as if they are really enjoying their paid vacation. Food: As long as you want to eat something, the food is ordered somewhere, the kitchen is not working, perhaps not a bad decision due to the presumably poor hygiene.Addendum to cleanliness 1 - Beach: Cleaned a bit after a week. So I am correcting my rating to 1/10.Conclusion: Overall grade 1/10Avoid the hotel if you are looking for peace, relaxation, cleanliness and service. If you don't need any of that, then good luck!!!
