My 4 weeks stay in Cashewnut Tree BungalowsI recently stayed for four weeks at the family house in Cashewnut Tree Bungalows and had a very relaxing time. The owners are incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything I needed. They offer a wide range of services, including scooter rentals, boat trips, elephant rides in the rainforest, various minivan or ferry connections to other cities or airports, diving trips, and numerous local attractions with plenty of recommendations.The resort also provides laundry services at a very reasonable price. The resort area itself is very peaceful, which helped me relax completely. It is centrally located in the southern part of Koh Lanta, near many restaurants, souvenir shops, 7-Eleven store, bars, and beautiful beaches. You can easily visit each of the beaches by scooter, which is very convenient.The location is relatively close to the national park and a waterfall, both of which are worth visiting. During my stay, I explored the entire island and found that the southern part is much more peaceful than the northern part.The resort provides internet access, but in the family house where I stayed, the connection was the weakest among all the bungalows. The speed was around 7 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload. Sometimes, I had to use my mobile internet for work. However, for regular internet use, the provided connection should be sufficient, with speeds up to 310 Mbps claimed by the owners in the other bungalows.In summary, Cashewnut Resort is very well organized, and the owners are very helpful. During my stay, I had an issue with my scooter, and the owners immediately assisted me by facilitating communication with the local Thai people, which was a great help. I could always count on their support. If I return to Koh Lanta, I will definitely visit Cashewnut Tree Bungalows again.

We stayed here for several nights and we had everything we needed in the bungalows. Water pressure was good, lovely staff and although you are only 1 minute from restaurants, a 7elven and bars, you sometimes feel like you are alone in the jungle (we had the rearmost bungalow). You should know that you sometimes have geckos in your room and there can be lots of monkeys on the property (at least in our back yard). For us it was rarely a problem, but if you have respect or fear of it you should think about it🌞

Amazing place with comfy bungalows and super nice hosts! It is in the middle of nature but next to beaches, restaurants, bars and shops. We felt so much at home there and the monkeys were funny visitors at the place. It is a wildlife spectacle. We liked it a lot! Thank you for the stay!

I had a very pleasant stay and I liked the garden concept. So cozy.The location is good. Short walk to 7-11 and other eateries, and short ride away from the beaches further south.The owners are very accommodating to my many questions and requests! Thank you so much. They are really friendly, and their staff too, always smiling :).

I had an amazing time here, it’s literally 5 minutes walking to the beach. The huts have great air conditioning and well taken care. Sara and Matteo were super friendly and gave us amazing tips about Koh Lanta. I wouldn’t hesitate to recomend !

Really good experience, lovely owners and staff, very caring and helpful. they really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable,even got us medicine from the farmacy when we had no motobike to go there.very clean and charming small resort with nice gardens and close to the beach. thanks again and hope to see you again!

We really enjoyed our stay. Cashewnut is perfectly situated in Kantiang which is not the busiest strip of Ko Lanta. This means it's less crowded although it still has plenty of life, and has a good vibe. The owners recommend excellent restaurants nearby. The nearby beach is great but like most Ko Lanta beaches has very little shade so we only went late in the day.We hired a bike - which was very good value - and explored the island using Cashewnut as a base.The room was clean and comfortable. And the owners set a friendly tone. There's no pool or breakfast 0- but you wouldn't expect it for the price, and we didn't miss either.

Really peaceful place to stay, a mere 2 mins from the hullabaloo of the town centre. Approach along an authentic short rocky Roman road (via antica) and you'll find a little piece of heaven full of monkeys, monitor lizards, frogs and a myriad of birdlife, we were mesmerised.The bungalows are shady, cool and beautifully equipped. We didn't even need the Aircon.The owners are Italian but not too scary, in fact really charming. 😊The beach is a hop, skip and a jump away and there are 2 very decent restaurants neighbouring the entrance.

Located south of Koh Lanta this place is surrounded by nature while being close to places of interest. Strategic position to reach the most beautiful beaches on the island. Sara and Matteo make the stay fantastic with their availability and kindness. We spent a fantastic week here between nature, silence and wonderful landscapes. Thank you!!!!

A magical place where you can enjoy the beach and the jungle with the monkeys literally at your doorstep... In addition, the bungalows are very comfortable and clean. The Italian couple that runs it help you with everything, they are charming. We extended from two days to seven days

Came here for the first time with my girlfriend and felt like I had really come to relax. It's quiet and suitable for relaxing on vacation. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The accommodations are shady. Everywhere you look, it's lush green, like sleeping under a safe tree. Including good service from the employees as well. If you are looking for accommodation on Koh Lanta Highly recommend this place: Cashewnut Tree Bungalow, close to the beach, just a few minutes walk away👌👍👍👍

We slept in modern bungalow with everything we needed. All around there is quiet beautiful green garden. The place is located just few minutes from the amazing Kantiang beach, the resort is near to the 7/11 and restaurants.|High recommended.

I gave everything 5 stars because we had a really pleasant holiday.Despite the heat of Thailand, this resort surrounded by greenery allowed us to enjoy cool and relaxing days.Sara and Matteo, the couple who run it, in addition to being very attentive to the needs of the guests, also gave us useful information to get to know the place.The sea is 5 minutes walk away.I hope they can open a breakfast place soon.
