10 to 15 minutes by car from the airport (taxi=500B). 15 minutes from the main street of Chaweng Beach (grab= 350B).Formerly Q Signature Samui Beach Resort, located at the cape of Choeng Mon Beach. When it opened, it was the Peninsula Resort & Spa Samui Hotel, which had 132 rooms and was popular for its thalasso spa.I recently learned from the 2007 book, Travel Meijin Books 94, ``Hotels in Thailand: Staying in Healing Hotels'' published in 2007. . I was surprised to find out that the facilities that Baiyoke bought, but have not yet been renovated or improved, are quite old and badly damaged, and there is even a building that looks like it will collapse on the way to the lobby building. However, it is located at a scenic point on Choeng Mon Beach. The Thai-style villa must have been luxurious in the past, with a private pool. A two-story building with two bedrooms and two bathtubs, over 200 square meters, built on a sloping lot in the Cape. One is a jacuzzi, but it is not working and is broken, so it is a large bathtub. The kitchenette and dining table are unusable due to a large air conditioner malfunction and are of no use. Room 203 is oddly designed as it doesn't have a large sofa or a living room, but this room has the best view. .The bedroom is good, with a Korean-made TV (the picture is very poor), the umbrella over the bed light is in tatters (lol), and a strong air conditioner. The main restaurant where we have breakfast is an order system as there are not many people staying there, so it's nice to be able to eat freshly prepared food (it's reserved for private use). The salads are fresh vegetables, the dressings are delicious, and everything is plentiful (the quality of the breakfast is good). The main pool from the room is an infinity pool overlooking the isolated islet and Choeng Mon Beach, with good water quality and circulation.Currently, there are only a few staff members as there are only a few rooms in use considering the facility is large, but they are friendly and respond to requests immediately. There are few guests, so it's stress-free.In a sense, it's a private property. (Probably only a few groups of guests were staying there)While other five-star hotels may be luxurious and have everything you need, Baiyoke Coast is a jokey, broken-down, unexplored attraction hotel facility.I am curious to see how Baiyoke will be renovated in the future.Being able to stay at this rate is the best cost performance, so you can stay whatever suits your mood. After the renovation plan, the rate will probably go up considerably... If you don't want luxury and convenience, now is the time to stay!
