SCAM. This hotel is nothing like what you see in the photographs. It is the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in in my life. It doesn't even deserve a star. The entire hotel is disgusting. Starting with the reception, which is horrible and that the “restaurant” is closed and roped. Second, the staff is not helpful at all and they do not solve anything at all, they are not friendly and if you do not agree they start talking to you in Thai knowing that you do not understand anything. Then the room is nothing like the images on the internet, it has almost no light, it has a window where you can see the hallway where everyone can see you while you sleep. The air conditioning is too loud and the smell in the room is horrible. The bed is the same as sleeping on a board or the floor. There is no wifi and the light connectors do not work. The WORST part is the bathroom, it smells sewage ALL the time, you literally turn on the shower and it smells like sewage. It's DISGUSTING. The bathroom door doesn't close and the door to the horrible mini terrace doesn't close properly either. The pool is nothing like the photos and the pool bathrooms are worse than public bathrooms. DON'T FALL INTO THIS HOTEL FACE.

Suitcases were picked up by the staff at the port and brought to the hotel. The staff was very nice. Unfortunately, our room was extremely humid no matter what we did. The air conditioning gave off a very strange smell. The bathroom mostly didn't work. With luck the flush worked once a day. The shower was very weak and only had cold water. All in all it was a good night. This is a room where you are as little as possible.

My stay at U Rip Resort was nothing short of terrifying. While I was in the shower, two men attempted to break into my locked room. These men had been watching me and my friends at the pool earlier, recording us without our consent. They left the pool at the same time like us and watched us get into ours room. Then, when I was alone in the shower, they tried to force their way into my room, later claiming that they were "looking for their friend" and had mistakenly entered my room. However, they attempted the same with my friend’s room as well who they watched get into the room.The most frightening part is that they actually managed to break my door open. Thankfully, the secondary lock I had engaged prevented them from fully entering, but the experience left me shaken. When I reported the incident to the hotel management, they reviewed the security footage, saw what had happened and still did nothing to address the situation. The men were not kicked out or reprimanded in any way, leaving me feeling incredibly unsafe. Their solution was to move me just two rooms down, still in close proximity to the men who had attempted to break in.This lack of action by the hotel is inexcusable. I expected the resort to prioritize the safety and well-being of its guests, but instead, they failed to take appropriate measures to ensure that I felt secure. I would strongly advise anyone considering this resort to think twice. Safety should never be compromised, and unfortunately, U Rip Resort did not seem to share this priority.

We checked into this hotel for 1 night as part of a two-day excursion around the islands. We were accommodated in an unfinished building with a couple of existing rooms. In the very middle of construction. Stink, dirt on the street (to the main, residential part). The rooms are not cleaned, there are plaster chips on the floor, and it is falling on your head. The swollen doors do not close. But the top of this was cockroaches in the room. The area where people are permanently populated is clean, the bushes are trimmed, there is a clean swimming pool, sun loungers, and a pier (at the proper water level). The staff is friendly.
