We had a very good stay at Isara Resort. The tiny houses have everything you need and are located just a short walk from Klong Khong Beach. We were able to rent a scooter on site and Penny was lovely throughout our stay which we extended by 3 nights. Thanks Penny! 🙏

Nice place, service really bad.Emailed twice about this incident, no one responded.I’m shocked about what happend this morning (19 march) with your receptionist staff K. I asked her yesterday if I can check out between 8 and 9 in the morning, she said yes. I asked yesterday if I can pay for the room, she said no tomorrow because she couldn’t go in the laptop. Inconvenient for me but okay.Today this happend. I was 08:55 at the reception. No one was there and I waited 10/15 min. because hangover K who just woke up came late. With all due respect but even your own staff knows about her drinking and she has a hangover and that’s why she is late. Everything took very long. My taxi guy was here at 09:00 and had to wait 15 min. because she was too late. Then she accused me of breaking the key which I didn’t. The key still worked and I took it with me everytime I left the room. She started to became more angry and didn’t want to give me the deposit back. First of all, no one told me where the key deposit was for. Second I didn’t broke it. After I tried to explain her nicely 5 times I didn’t broke it and it was already quite broken and I’m waiting for her for 20 min. now and want to go, she started to yell at me, said she now has to pay the deposit for my key and made a scene. I think it’s unbelievable how she treated us (there was another guy waiting to check out) and made us wait. The other staff is super nice, I had a good stay, but this left a very bad feeling to me and to this place.I hope you will talk with your staff. I hope you understand me and I would like to get some response back since I emailed twice.

We stayed in a superior bungalow, A7. It has everything you need and is very clean and quite large. The room is cleaned every day.The place is very quiet and directly overlooks the beach. There are several places in the shade to relax quietly with a view of the sea. The hotel has a restaurant, in which we did not eat but only had a drink. The prices are reasonable and you can eat in the dedicated shaded areas.A 2-minute walk away, there is the main street, including a 7-Eleven, a small supermarket, and street food stands.The staff is great and always responsive.We had a very pleasant stay, I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to spend a few quiet days.

Calm, clean and very friendly place. Rooms have air condition, hot water and mini fridge. 3 min walk is nearest 7/11 supermarket, 5 min walk are nearest restaurants. It’s possible to rent scooters on the main road opposite 7/11.

Beautiful bungalows with aircon and hot water, right on the beach, German, very nice owner, Thai Penny and Katharina do a great job, are very, very nice and personable and make sure that everyone feels comfortable. Price-performance is unbeatable!Would come back at any time!👍👍🤩🤩

Discovered by chance and only went because the Bundesliga was being shown there. Owner friendly and accommodating.Staff very warm and friendly. Beer prices are okay. Owner is from Germany, the menu is aimed at a German audience.I had a very nice football evening there and can only recommend it.Thank you very much for the warm welcome

Super nice service. All really warm people. I got food poisoning and everyone looked after me very kindly and cooked soups etc. The owner also always has good tips for day trips or good insiders. Bungalows are also totally good in terms of price-performance ratio. If I were to come to Koh Lanta, I would go back to Isara Lanta 😊 Thanks for the great stay!

Right on the beach, with a good bar. The huts are brick built, set out in two parallel lines facing each other, so short on privacy. Also, the door didn't fit week, leaving plenty of space for mosquitoes to get in during the night, and they're was no net.The other guests were mainly German - and they have some German beer, show German football league, and have German menu once a week.The beach is very rocky at low tide, so not ideal for swimming - and we saw a striped sea snake, which is poisonous. But it's not crowded, the sand advice the rocks is plentiful, and they're are loads of good eateries and bars.

I was here for two weeks and felt really comfortable. The owner is from Germany. My bungalow had a large bathroom with a shower, a comfortable bed, a quiet refrigerator and an equally quiet air conditioning system. The staff are super friendly and I was able to relax at the beach bar. It's 5-10 minutes across the beach to the beach bars. Thanks for the nice time.

Very friendly employees! Price quality is amazing. Wifi worked good. Cleaned our room daily and provided anything we needed. The accommodation is basic, but best price ratio on the island. Beach is very quiet in this season.
