Unbeatable for the price (800 baht per night during end of COVID). Grand feeling from the old colonial / opium trading days. Highly recommended, feels much more expensive than the price. Great view over Burma and Laos and Mekong from the room

Quite good overall but the toilets were very dated (you can tell from the American Standard logo edition) and with a very high water line as well. Perhaps it was just an unrenovated room though. The bathroom was otherwise okay - just the toilet was annoying.

Teak wood ornate old hotel with large rooms and a king bed which apparently had its glory in the past. The restaurant has great terrace with river views.

Nice hotel room with balcony overlooking river was good. Really a great view. Bed was great. A few restaurants within walking distance. Lack of transport was a problem. No taxis or tut tuts around. Look out was lovely. Breakfast was poor during our | stay due to lack of tourists. Staff were ok. Pool area was uninviting.

30 year old classic hotel. One of the better ones available in the area. A bit dated but satisfactory for the price and location. Unfortunately the hazard air quality has affected the tourism.

The location is very beautiful, from the restaurant you can see the border river confluence. The room is nice and spacious although the equipment is a bit old. Professional and friendly staff. Room price is suitable.

Nice place! Receptionists were very friendly and room is really nice! We didnt get a view of the borders though but you can see it from their restaurant which is quite high! The location is also very convenient! The main highlights of the Golden Triangle is nearby with tons of snack places, massage places, souvenir stores and boat rides along the river. The view and the landmarks are also all nearby, only about 5mins walk from the hotel! Theres also a restaurant nearby that closes relatively late, we went to eat there about close to 9pm.
