What a homestay! The lodge is modest and the price tag is very friendly. The services are incredible. Located near everywhere you need to be in town, the place is pleasingly quiet and peaceful, except for the bombastic sound of the marching band at the crazy school nearby who allow the horrible noise from hell to breakout at 07:30 am, disturbing everybody living near it. The school is so thoughtless and it scares residents and tourists alike.

The place is not bad, and the price was good, the staff are friendly Chinese.Large area.But an unpleasant situation happened to us during eviction.We found them through booking, but didn’t book there; we decided directly that we needed 2 nights.In my booking, free breakfast was included in the price of my stay.We checked in without a booking at the same price, and they told us what time breakfast would be.The first day after breakfast they didn’t say anything. , but on the third day, when checking out, they decided to show us the invoice for breakfast, which was included in the price on my booking.We told him why he didn’t provide an invoice on the first day? There was only silence in response. Showed them the prices on booking.We didn’t pay anything, we thought that they wanted to deceive us for money.

Great host and service, the room was clean with private bathroom, a bit rustic construction but i dont mind.
For breakfast we got 2 fried eggs, butter, bread and tea, it was lovely!!
They also helped to rent a scooter for 250 baths 24 hrs.

It's the best. Initially, I only booked for two days, but ended up staying for about a month. The room has its own bathroom and costs 250 Baht per night, making it probably the most cost-effective accommodation in Chiang Rai.There are also spoiled cats at the inn. The owner was kind and even gave me a ride on the back of his bike to the bus terminal and night market. Wifi sometimes stops connecting, but it fixes itself after about 5 minutes. Oh, and towards the end, the water supply seemed to have broken, so there were days when the toilet wouldn't flush, but I love Garden house so it was totally okay. It was heaven.

We stayed here 4 nights in the doubleroom with fan. Its is clean here and quiet. The bathroom is to share and simple, though has hot water.The owners are old and sweet, friendly and helpful people 😀. There are some lovely cats around in the green flower and lake garden. All in all its chill here to stay a while.Renting motorbikes possible as well!

It is very cheap and not bad located. The staff is very attentive and friendly. You can rent very cheap motorcycles to get around for 250 baths.

Rooms in the heart of Chiang Rai, cheap prices, can't be found anywhere else in the 3 worlds, good atmosphere, shady, quiet, staff, managers, friendly, laundry, ironing services available as well. There are cars for rent, both sedans and motorcycles, and guides are available for a lump sum fee. Overall, I think it's OK. Carry a backpack and travel alone as you wish.

Awesome place if you want something authentic, cheap and chill. Pleasant and funny staff. Rooms simple and very big with character. Feels like your in a jungle setting despite being so close to the town centre 👌 been to Thailand countless times so would highly recommend this one if your looking for more traditional accommodation ✌

Simple but pleasant room. It's a little hot because we're directly under the roof but there is a fan. The rooms are in small houses in the middle of a garden, it’s very cute but watch out for mosquitoes. Very calm.The staff is pleasant. Possibility to rent a scooter (250 baht/day).Location-wise, you have to walk a bit to get to the night market but it’s ok.

The name sums it up very well: Garden house. Adorable place amidst a well maintained jungle-like garden. The rooms (huts) are very simple (eg. Fans instead of air con) but very charming as well. The owner (San) was very polite and you could see that he pours his heart and soul into the garden and that he really enjoys having guests over.One has to keep in mind that with the garden (in combination with rain and heat) come the mosquitoes. But thats nothing that some bug repellent can't fix (in the evenings San put out some mosquito repelling candles for us). If you enjoy a simple but very charming place I can really recommend Garden House.

Maybe a bit rustic, worn, unpolished, but with it's garden-green setting, it is head&shoulders above the usual shiny, high-rise tourist traps frequented by today's parroting follow-the-leader vacationer.

Small guest house that doesn't look like much, but the owner is cool, accommodating and the place is cool to relax a little in Chiang Rai... Recommend! 250THB per night, 1300THB per week and 5500THB per month!
