Unless you are really going for a very tight price, I don't recommend it, the air conditioning didn't work, it was terribly hot... the bathrooms left a lot to be desired, I understand that it was very economical but there could be a little more maintenance, the cobwebs thing is the least

Well placed to discover Chiang Rai.Our room stank of cigarettes and had no window… after complaining and saying that it was not possible for us to sleep in it, the lady found us a solution (in the hotel opposite for the same price).Very very very basic breakfast: bananas and bread.On booking the hotel said that we had not paid... although yes!In short, practical but not luxurious

Most dirty place possible. Hasn't been cleaned in years. Cheap but spend a extra few dollars for something you actually feel clean sleeping at.

The room was tiny, there was no air conditioning, the toilets were very dirty, there were bugs everywhere and the bed was very uncomfortable. The only good thing about this hostel was where it was located. I don't recommend it at all.

We stayed here 3 nights. The place is good for the low price, with basic facilities but a comfortable stay. Location is nice. The AC worked well and our double room was spacious with a little balcony, the twin room was a lot smaller and no balcony or window (still comfortable). Towels provided, good beds. Shared bathrooms were ok and the staff were nice however they were not always there, only breakfast was very poor. Solid option for the price and 4 stars is accurate in my opinion

Filthy place. Walls, doors, everything has years of dirt. The black on the floor tiles is ground in dirt. The table that "breakfast" is left out on is filthy, and was never cleaned in the 3 weeks I stayed. The continental breakfast advertised is just instant coffee, (no tea) made using the water dispenser (no kettle), white bread you can toast and put only strawberry jelly on, and overripe bananas. Staff is rarely around. The owner allowed 40-50 of her relatives to come and use the place overnight to get ready for a wedding while the owner was not there. They yelled back and forth in the hallway outside where guests were trying to sleep until after 1 am then began again at 4 am till 8. It sounded like a wedding reception was happening in the hostel. The owner cared nothing about how this would disturb guests. The owner only offered a weak apology. Nothing to make up to her paying guests for being kept up all night by her family.

I was able to book a 4-person dormitory with two bunk beds for 428 baht for 4 nights at the right time.I like that the whole hostel doesn't feel like there are too many people, probably because they only allow 2 people in a 4-person dormitory. There is a cafeteria on the first floor where toasted jam, margarine, powdered coffee and bananas are available. We received complimentary water bottles, you can use the refrigerator, and you can also use the kitchen equipment in the back.I think this laid-back atmosphere is typical of Thailand.
