I recently stayed at this hotel and had a rather disappointing experience. I forgot my headphones in the room and when I inquired about them, the staff pretended they had no idea what I was talking about, despite me providing precise details about where I had left them.The room itself was mediocre at best. There was an unpleasant odor that made the stay uncomfortable. The beds were just okay, and the bathroom, while sufficient, was not particularly nice.Overall, I would advise finding a different hotel. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this place.

Views from the hotel are great.
Avoid room 207. We found bed bugs in our bed and we were moved to a different room. They told us that they had bed bugs before in the room, but they thought they were gone.

Avoid these place.Booked for 2 nights, but think I will leave earlier... Around 2 am, the people over my room jumped around and it sounded like that they replaced the furniture... breakfast until 10... No one was there, just a boy who said it's two late, 9:45...After a discussion I got a bad breakfast...

Twin room with window costs 260,000 kip/night, averagely high compared to room prices in Laos. Room quality and service are okay, not too impressive. Laundry service prices are quite high

The rooms are fine, the bathroom is spacious and the shower works. The view is really beautiful. However, the beds are hard, holes in the windows are taped and in the morning you wake up to the constant screaming of several roosters. Terrible! Not recommendable!

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great view if you stay on the top floor. Bathroom was basic, they are getting a 5* review for the sheer volume of water that poured out of the shower head at a constant warm temperature. I swear half the Mekong River poured on me every second. Where not fancy it was probably one of the best showers I have had in many years living in Asia.

The hotel has rooms in 3 different price categories. We had a room in the middle price category on the top floor (room 406) with a comfortable, wide double bed. It has lots of pillows, duvet covers and comfortable bath towels, TV, fridge, air conditioning and small balcony. The shower always had hot water, no matter what time of day you showered. Slippers, hairdryer, shampoo, toothbrush and toothpaste, as well as bars of soap and shower caps, kettle and cups are available. Bottled water was also free in the room. Room 406 is on the shady side and has a pleasant temperature. You have a view upstream of the Mekong. There is also a publicly accessible balcony at the end of the corridor where you can see the Mekong in both directions. There is no elevator, the hotel is not modern, but it is clean and you can also have breakfast there. It is definitely one of the better hotels on the street, so it costs a few banknotes more than the countless guesthouses. The only negative point: thin walls, noisy and, depending on the neighbors, unpleasant. We were satisfied and therefore stayed one night longer than planned. We never had a reservation and had no problem getting a room.

Clean room equipped with air conditioning, and the hotel terrace offers a beautiful view of the Mekong at sunset.OK for one night, but the water is not very hot, and the soundproofing leaves something to be desired.The rate of €15 per night without breakfast is high for the services provided. The hotel offers tickets for the slowboat for 450,000 with tuktuk which drops off at the pier, while my friend took it at her hotel for 420,000 with a sandwich included!

We stayed in a river view room with air conditioning, TV, and refrigerator. You can see Thailand on the opposite shore from the window. Breakfast is served at an open-air restaurant right next to the river. On the first day, there was a group of Chinese guests, so we had breakfast porridge.

I booked this hotel by mistake because the Agoda app showed it when I was looking for hotels in Luang Prabang. When I realized the mistake the hotel!refused to refund my money! They took almost 40 USD from me. Extremely greedy and immoral people run this hotel. Be alarmed.

The best place to stay in Huay Xai. Go for an upper floor with river view, worth every Baht. Staff are locals with good English, are friendly and helpful.

The house is very clean, price 260,000 kip/night for a room with 2 single beds. Double room is 400,000kip/night. I feel like the receptionist is not very approachable, feels like she doesn't like her job and wants to get the job done quickly😁 but even though she's quite nice😆
