Doesn't happen often, you become friends with the owner. Kookai took me around on a scooter, showed me her family, tought me how to cook tom yum, and showed me all the beautiful spices and fruits. Thank you for taking care of me :)

The owners are very friendly and helpful. Kookai is sexy too so be careful to keep control.The rooms all have a lovely atmosphere with a nice terrace looking at very green scenery.It is in a great location near Charlie beach and is good value for money.It is one of the most relaxing places I've been to in Thailand.Some of the rooms need a bit of maintenance as the shower and soap dispenser in our room were broken but that is a trivial point.

We loved our 10 day stay here! Kokai and the whole team offered amazing hospitality. The rooms have everything you need, only a 5 minute walk to beautiful sunset beach and delicious coffee in the morning.

You cant find more awesome, helpful and hospitable hosts anywhere! Kookai and her husband really went our of their way to sort us out with whatever we asked for! So kind and loving from the very first moment we arrived to the place!The bungalows were amazing and had a cute little terrace for chilling! Also they offer all kinds of services such as transport, tours, day trips, laundry etc.Thank you once again for the stay and see you!

Lovely accommodation in a quiet location and the nicest people on the island own the place! The host took good care of us and fulfilled all our wishes. The bungalows are very clean and quiet. Lovely butterflies were flying around and the garden was beautiful. There is also a lovely beach nearby. I will come back here again. ❤️

Really nice stay. Family owned place with a very good and personal service. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children. There was room for play and fun with the owners. They are also helpful with trips and transport. Can be highly recommended.

I enjoyed seeing a bugallow in a small jungle. Short walk to the beach with a beautiful sunset in the evening.The host couple were very nice and accommodating with help with trips arrival and departure.

Great bamboo bungalow in the middle of the countryside... except for the sounds of nature there is absolute peace despite the proximity to the street and Charlybeach... the terrace is great and so is everything else 👏We'll be back next year 👍

A beautiful peaceful relaxing place to enjoy our Koh Muk holiday from. We stayed here last year and were happy to return. Clean comfortable room, huge bathroom and toilet and a nice balcony to relax on enjoying the shade, cool breeze and views overlooking a pond and garden and surrounding hills and jungle. Refreshments and food are on hand at the restaurant. The owners are friendly and very helpful and were able to advise and arrange everything for us. The beautiful beach is a short stroll away and the only village on the island can be easily reached.

Very quiet, nestled in a tropical garden. Simple bungslows and impeccable cleanliness. Friendly managers always available. The cuisine is also excellent.

It's beautiful, for me they were the nicest people on the island. The people offered the children ice cream and activities to play with. The bungalows are made of bamboo. There is a lake outside with fish in it. The restaurant is a little further. The selection is huge and it tastes so delicious and we also prepared a free meal ourselves on the last day.

If you look in the dictionary for 'hospitality' it should appear 'Bamboo Huts' as synonym :)Kookai and her husband will make your stay one of the greatest you ever had. They will be glad to help you in anything you need! Transport, island info, transfers, whatever!Moreover, one of the most excellent food in the island and cooked with so much love.The location is great, surrounded by nature and wild animals!The bungalows have been built new recently and they have everything you may need. Simple, cozy, clean and best value for money. Stop looking for homestays in Ko mook, you already found the best :)

We really liked this place. Everything is new and clean. The hosts do everything and even more to make your stay comfortable. Excellent breakfast and very tasty food. The only small negative is that if you sit in a bungalow during the day it will be very hot, but we were on the beach almost all the time, it was not critical for us. Walk to the beach literally 400 meters. Highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect, peaceful location, well appointed cool bungalows with an abundance of wildlife to see. Easy 10 min walk to the beautiful Charlie Beach. Really lovely hosts, very obliging and willing to assist in organising tours and other activities. Lovely breakfast.

The hosts are super nice and accommodating. Thanks for having us!The bungalows were well laid out, cool at night, and impeccably clean. No mosquitoes made it inside, and we were able to hang out on our elevated porch and soak up the surrounding views without any mosquitoes bugging us.The location was perfect for us. We ended up spending most of our time on this idyllic end of the island. Between the good vibes and food at nearby Charlie beach, there wasn't much reason to leave. We did rent one of bamboohut's scooters for a couple days to explore town. Grabbing a taxi was also really easy.Would also recommend snorkelling the coral reefs at Koh Kradan, swimming through emerald cave, kayaking to Sabai beach, and taking in a sunset at Charlie beach while staying here. Bamboohut had good food and so did Mong bar on the beach.
