Pretty good bungalows! Clean rooms for Jungle but without AC, but actually Ventilator was enough to sleep good. Ants in WC but nothing too tragic… the location is great, 3 min from the beast beach on the island!

Very simple bungalows, just a few meters from the beach. The breakfast was good, you could choose what you wanted. The owner helped us organize the onward journey and tour. There are also restaurants and bars next door

Brilliant location. 2 minute walk to Charlie Beach. Ten minute tuk tuk to the town and pier. Nice clean bungalows. Fab aircon. Wifi not great unless you're in the reception area. Owner and staff are lovely. Very peaceful. Brilliant Thai food in the restaurant opposite.

We booked our stay 3 months ahead on Wotif (in Sept 22 for a Dec 22 stay).When we turned up, the owner had no idea about our booking as they apparently "do not use Wotif" (even though we'd booked through Wotif) and we're not due to open for the season until the next day.We then found the room that we were offered to be full of mould and what looked to be a blood stain on the pillow. Apparently during the off-season the bungalow rooves had leaked, causing extensive mould (which they'd obviously tried to clean with the paint discolouration and smell still evident). They were then not able to offer us another room that didn't have mould (the other three they showed us did too), so we left.We have since not been provided with a refund as the owner of the accommodation is adamant that they don't have a WotIf account (even though I've shown it to him, including our payment being processed) and that it has his old phone number associated with the account. With English being his second language, he has also told Wotif to not refund us on the basis that, he believes, they have not received any money from us, so have no refund to give (even through we have paid).Throughout our interactions with him, the owner was relatively friendly, and was obviously also confused (with English being his second language).The location of the property is also great, being next to the best beach on the island (Had Farang).At the end of the day, aside from the property, unfortunately, being in a very poor condition, I believe this reflects most poorly on Wotif - they should not have unverified properties listed on their site.We're still yet to get any refund, so this has naturally been a very disappointing, and costly, experience.

I recently stayed at Rubber Tree Bungalow that was very close to Charlie beach and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The sunset at Charlie beach was absolutely breathtaking and it was the perfect way to end each day.But the real standout of my trip was the staff at the location. They were incredibly nice and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable. In fact, they even helped me out when I accidentally threw my cable charger into the rubbish. They were able to locate it a week later and returned it to me, even though I was on another island with no shops. I am forever grateful for their help and would highly recommend this location to anyone visiting the area. The staff truly made my trip memorable and I can't thank them enough for their kindness.

Quiet location in the immediate vicinity of the beach. The owner is a welcoming man, happy to help and guide you to have a pleasant holiday without negative events. Quite often, he organizes meals and invites all clients for friendly discussions and over fresh fishing. We thank Odd for the pleasant atmosphere with which you have welcomed us.

Clean rooms, aircon and nice and plain bathroom. Location is good, just a stroll from Charlie's Beach. Breakfast was not too good though.

I was in this accommodation for the sixth time, compared to before, the tenant has changed, and in a word, a disaster. In 7 days, not once was the cleaning done, the toilet was clogged, they finally added a sink, but no water flows into it. Staff unpleasant.

Thai-clean, mold in the bathroom, the toilet didn't always flush, it worked for 3 nights.But a very good breakfast selection and friendly staff

We stayed in one of their fan bungalows with only cold water but at 800 baht / night incl. breakfast in high season we thought it was a fair price. Good location only a few hundred meters from Charley beach and very kind staff. We would go back if we return to Koh Muk.
