Super beautiful complex located on the mountainside, in the middle of nature. Garden very nicely laid out and maintained. There are different cabins/rooms. Service is great. Mattresses, some very hard. The facility is a bit older. The pool is clean and very large and easy to swim in. However, the existing loungers/chairs are already rotten. Otherwise it is a facility for nature lovers. There are good restaurants in the immediate vicinity, otherwise a bit remote. Renting a car or scooter wouldn't be bad.

I've been working since this resort was built and have been to Chiang Mai a lot. I wanted to stay many times, but I haven't been able to stay now in '67, so I took friends to stay. It can be said that the service is good, the welcome is delicious, and even though everyone is old, they can still handle it because the houses are different levels. It was 13 degrees that day and we were still singing until 11 p.m. Thank you Mr. Kotchakorn.

A rather special experience... a magnificent place, really very beautiful. However, only the exterior is beautiful...The rooms are very unpleasant, old and uncomfortable: very poorly equipped (no fridge, no kettle, no comfort at all...), the rooms are damp, very humid. There was a smell of mold and it was very cold at night. Awkward outdoor lighting for sleeping. Noise very early in the morning (several mornings in a row)... no really, room wise it needs to be reviewed. The swimming pool has a particular exposure to the sun, in the shade from 2 p.m., and the water there was too cold for me. The equipment there was disastrous: the chairs were old and damaged. Very limited in number for the number of rooms available. The hotel restaurant (near reception) is good, the food is good. With correct prices. The service is good. The hotel staff is very kind and pleasant. We feel good there.Breakfast is quite limited but cava nonetheless. The hotel is really good for meeting up, recollecting yourself and isolating yourself... if the humidity doesn't bother youIt is very far from the city center (a good hour), taxis, bolts and other transport require a lot of money to get there... so once there, you are isolated. That was my experience, I invite you to do yours...

We recently had a wonderful 1-night stay at Ma Sa Valley Resort with our family. The resort is located in a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains, and the views from our room were breathtaking. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and they went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.We particularly enjoyed the resort's outdoor pool, which was perfect for cooling off on a hot day. Suster' s kids also loved the children's play area, which was well-equipped and safe. In the evening, we enjoyed a delicious dinner at the resort's restaurant, which served BBQ pork.Overall, we had a very positive experience at Ma Sa Valley Resort. It is a great place to stay for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

It is hard to know where to start this review, there are so many good things to see and do here. The Mae Sa Valley Resort is truly a hidden gem. Located about 40 km from Chiang Mai city centre, from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality by the owner and staff. Offering to carry our bags, they promptly showed us to our Villa, in front of and below the main building. The villa consisted of two immaculately clean rooms with ensuite bathrooms and an upstairs loft. The rooms were equipped with everything we needed, including a fridge, air conditioning, plenty of power points, and TVs. Outside the villa was a large private verandah and seating area, very pleasant to sit outside and view the property and look up at the stars at night. Interestingly we noticed that the rooms were already cool, as the air conditioners had already been turned on prior to our arrival. One of the highlights of the resort is its stunning picturesque tiered flower beds. The flower beds are beautifully maintained, and the gardeners can be seen diligently tending to the gardens. The resort is also located next to a fast-flowing stream, adding to the tranquil ambiance. A bridge over the stream take you to the second restaurant/cafe.In terms of amenities, the resort exceeds expectations. There are two onsite restaurants, offering a variety of delicious food. We had dinner here, bbq pork and vegetables (grown in their garden and freshly cut), squid, fish, crab sticks and huge Prawns. They also provided various home-made sauces, mildly spicy to suit the food. There were different sauces for the pork and the seafood. Although there was no dessert menu, there was ice cream, lovely and cold on a hot evening. The swimming pool is a nice spot to relax, with comfortable loungers, chairs, tables, and showers nearby. The pool water was so clean with no leaves or debris at all. The whole family spent some enjoyable time together swimming and lounging around the pool.Back in our villa, when it started to rain, the staff promptly provided us with umbrellas, so that we would stay dry for the short walk to the restaurant, such a nice attentive touch to the great service provided.Breakfast is provided as part of the room booking. There is your choice of three set meals and ‘all you can eat’ tea, coffee and toast with jam or marmalade. All the food was generously portioned and properly cooked.Overall, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of superb accommodation, beautiful gardens, and attentive helpful staff made our stay truly memorable. We highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.
