Pim Bungalow

Unfortunately we realized too late that Mr Pim also rents out bungalows - instead we were annoyed by the completely overpriced bad rooms in the neighboring Maehaad. But we often shopped cheaply here and found a very fair and friendly moped rental company with very well-maintained machines. So nice People!

Comfortable, quiet, clean and for a good price! 100% reccomendable. The owners are really kind and helpful. Just 4 minutes walk from one of the best beaches. We stayed for 6 nights, and it was just perfect! They also have a shop and bikes for rent.

Great place to relax. Stayed here with my family. Very quiet, room clean. There is a kettle, air conditioning, washing machine (shared). The owner and his daughter are super friendly. Minus: the room was not cleaned more than once in three days, there were ants in the bed.

The accommodation is right on a main road, so it is noisy in the old wooden bungalows and the front ones. Sleeping is only possible with Oropax! The older bungalows all have hammocks where you can relax. …

Was cheap for stay a few days. But they forgot our room completely to clean and bring new towels. For a few days.

In my subjective opinion, this is a mega-cool bungalow! Brand new, cozy, clean, even smells fresh! Friendly owners. The beach is just a couple of minutes walk away. Quite convenient location from the Srithanu area, where there are all kinds of retreat centers and a good street gym. For those who adhere to active recreation, this is it. The only negative is that there are a few ants in the bathroom, well, that's if you're too picky... I booked it through agoda, for about 3 thousand rubles. two nights, if you pay in cash and for a longer period, it turns out cheaper. Well, I really liked it, I recommend it!

We didn't stay overnight here, we just rented a car for a day. Very friendly, no rip off, 1500 baht a day (24 hours).

We feel extremely comfortable here, which is why we are here for the third time. :DThe formerly small wooden bungalows have now given way to large stone bungalows. And by big I mean big. All are equipped with air conditioning, fans and hot water - and a fridge! We've especially learned to love it now. The kettle too!The veranda is also large and furnished with a table, chairs and hammock. Danger! Bungalow 6 and 7, for whatever reason, do not have a hammock. If you care about this, you should probably say so beforehand.For health reasons, the restaurant has (unfortunately!!!!) given way to a shop where you can get everything you need to live here. Water, mosquito spray, beer, bits and bobs, sunscreen (which, as always, costs 10 times the German prices here), snacks etc etc. Scooters that are well maintained can also be rented here.One can only say to the hosts: as it echoes into the forest, it comes out again. If you're nice, polite, maybe even chat for a moment, you'll quickly feel like you're part of the family. If you don't want to "have anything to do" with them, it's not that tragic, but it's also not that warm. If you behave like an ax in the forest, you can sometimes get thrown out. But we don't do it any differently at home!The prices have adjusted from 400B to 650B / night for the higher level of comfort. Absolutely understandable.It's a 3 minute walk to the beach. I recommend going via the Wang Sai Resort, even if it takes a little longer. But this is how you get to the non-snobby part of the beach. Unfortunately, there are now also these oh-so-great, elegant resorts here that are visited by people with enough money. Private area on the beach - pffff! Nobody needs it here!Otherwise there are several ATMs, a Family Mart and a lot of small restaurants with delicious Thai food. Some also offer European cuisine, but I can't say anything about the quality.Maybe you shouldn't be too afraid of nature. Yesterday a 1.70m monitor lizard leisurely strolled past our bungalow. :DIn short: we feel at home here.
