Everything they write about the smell of a garbage dump is a relic of the pre-Covid era. A German waste disposal apparatus has been installed at the plant for a long time; there is no incineration there. If there's one thing that lingers throughout the island, it's the smell of burning coconuts.The location is great, 7/11 is two minutes by bike. Nearby are Thai shops, a motorcycle service, a laundress, cafes, car rental and repair.On the territory there is a huge swimming pool with a children's area, there are washing machines for 30 baht. Fitness area and mini-cafe.Houses on the mountain with a very beautiful view. Those that are closer to the road - without it. But they are 10-20% cheaper.The staff is friendly.The obvious disadvantages are a minimum of furniture in the houses, a double bed, a table/pair of chairs, a sofa on the balcony, a TV and kitchen utensils. Some chest of drawers is missing, but that's just nitpicking.

If you are coming to Koh Phangan for health and clean air, this is not the place for you.There is a waste incineration plant (no filters) 200 meters away. As a result, toxic smoke and disgusting smell will ruin your vacation.

The resort is located just 200m from a landfill and an incinerator. As a result, there is a very strong garbage smell on the resort property throughout the day.The house gets very hot in the sun. There is only one air conditioner in the house, which is not capable of cooling the entire house. Also, because we constantly ran the air conditioner at full power, we received an electricity bill of about 4000 baht for 20 days of stay.

We lived there in winter 2019 and overall liked it. Pros: Excellent swimming pool on site with a children's splash pool, well-kept area, you feel at home, large terraces in the houses, you can sit and drink in groups, the price is reasonable, but it could be cheaper, the location is just excellent.Of the minuses: High climb up the stairs, you need to keep an eye on small children, uncomfortable hard mattresses, few kitchen utensils (almost none), sometimes the smell of burnt coconuts comes from the wind from the landfill.The owner is a pretty friendly woman who has been there for at least 3 years.

The terrible smell of a garbage dump being burned nearby. There is little furniture in the house, almost all the chairs are broken. It is noisy in the morning because children are screaming as they get ready for school; in the evening children are also screaming, but in the pool.The area is clean, the staff takes care of the trees. Beautiful view of the mountain.If you are traveling as a family with children and are not bothered by the occasional smell of a garbage dump, then this resort is suitable, as there is a swimming pool, not far from Tong Sala, there are many other couples with children. I recommend everyone else consider other housing options.

Nice, cozy, clean. Price/quality complex. Expats and tourists live here. Friendly. Well-groomed area.We lived here for a week and really liked everything. Nearby is a 7/11, close to the beach, and places with bars, cafes, and all other entertainment.

It is a settlement and the bedroom wall heats up very much from the sun.Otherwise everything was fine. The bungalows are well laid out, with a large terrace at the front and a small balcony at the back.The bathroom is accessible from the living room and the bedroom, which I really liked because I had visitors often during the four weeks.
