Such a lovely hostel! The bed is the most comfiest bed I’ve ever slept on. The rooms are clean. The owner is adorable she’s so cute and they give you free breakfast. Highly highly highly recommend

Any complaint I may have had really doesn’t make or break the experience. The beds were very comfortable and I loved the pillows.There’s a jazz bar across the street as other people have mentioned, and the music reminded me of my own time working at such an establishment.I thought the view was also lovely a fine balcony to sit and contemplate the impermanence of our lives and metaphorical walls we build around us.The people who work here are very kind and helpful. If ever I returned to Chiang Mai I can see myself staying at the Northgate bed-and-breakfastIt was a lovely stay if there’s any room for improvement it would just be some repair to the leaking ceiling from the first floor staircase as that may be a slight safety issue.

Best hostel is Asia so far🤩 Super hiper clean and nice… and the staff is very friendly. The bed is crazy comfy (fluffy and 3 pillows). You have your own locker and the room had a small chill area and a balcony 🙌 and right in front of the best jazz bar of chiang mai 😌

We booked a private room for 4 nights. The facility was very clean. The free breakfast was just sandwich bread, jam, cereal and coffee.Our stay was a lot better thanks to the friendly and helpful receptionist. Definitely recommend staying here.

Busy, but great location, extremely clean, very kind staff, modern, cute. I kept on extending my stay here. All the guests here were very findly, respectful and quiet. They have private rooms with balcony facing the a little street and a big dorm with 10 beds facing the main road very close to a jazz club that has concerts every night.

Booked a private room. Location was nice, convenient but not overly busy and crowded. Khun Win (reception) was very helpful and nice. Jazz bar across is a plus. Would recommend for a short stay.

A lot of expat and new experience. I love the way that they services us, it's new way in Thailand but make me feel private.I booking from agoda application., call host (telephone number at the door) after we arrive. Host will explain ; how to entrance the door, where is your room-Barth room, any attractive you can do at this hostel. You can ask them about places or restaurants, how can go there. They inform by mobile but feel cozy and safety. Love this place ❤️

Rooms are great well maintained and have storage lockers for big packs that normally aren't available. The beds have night lights and sunlight reduction curtains! So, lots of privacy and not much light coming into your space either from other travelers or from the sun.Key card entry for front door and dorms. Only downside I'd say is the lack of breakfast considering it's called "bed and breakfast" seems they stopped doing it cause of COVID and haven't brought it back (not a big deal - since it gets you out of the hostel and into the community for some really amazing food if you head straight out the hostel and across the street. Incredible hotpot place and tons of other places on the right). Also, there was no water dispenser that was working in the building.Location is great there is the jazz house across the street, and a small nightly food vendor area where all the locals eat.

Amazing hostel, most comfortable and cleanest beds & bathrooms we have ever stayed in in Thailand. Win on reception was outstanding, kind and helpful for all our needs with booking activities to helping with any issues or questions we had. Great location and the hostel even has a TV with Netflix for you to use down by Reception. Only downside the water dispenser was out of use throughout our stay
