In some rooms the ants bite very painfully! On the bed and on the table! There is no air conditioning, there is a fan, but it blows hot air, the air is cooler than in the room, the room is very stuffy and disgusting during the day! And no refrigerator is a failure

GoldBeen coming here since ‘03. Seen it grow over the years. It’s only gotten better with age.They run a tight ship. Clean for the most part. Great food. It’s 600/b a night for a bungalow. It’s easy here if that’s what you want for your holiday.Long live Big Blue.

Very convenient place to stay if you do not want to take a boat to/from Eden and Bambu parties. Very simple, but cheap huts. Friendly staff. Nice crowd that knows why they chose BigBlu to stay.

Man I have been waiting 1 hour for my food. Partied all night at Eden and in the morning stopped here to grab food well I haven’t moved and I have complained. Right by the beach smoking weed the vibes are there but the food and service it’s atrocious.

I have stayed at this place on 4 separate occasions over a 10 year period. The food is good, the portions are perfectly sized and very reasonably priced. The bungalows are a little dated and could do with updating but the location is amazing. First travelled here in 2004 and stayed for three weeks. The area has become a little bit overdeveloped but the same could be said for a lot of Thailand now.Any backpacker looking for a quiet place to stay on the island far from the madding crowd should consider this place.

There are much better and more expensive food & stay options available on the island but take nothing away from how good this place is.Big blue is the most affordable and nice option on the island. The staff is mega lovely and very helpful.Can't wait to visit that side of ko panghan again

we ate here often during our stay. the food is always good, especially the thai and italian. great pizza and pasta. good portions and a bonus, they are more affordable than other places around. quite a refreshing and peaceful break from the constant loud party music as well.

The best restaurant on this beach for sure! Very affordable prices, big portions of food and a very appealing location. Perhaps the milkshakes are a bit artificial, but apart from that the food is of top quality. Staff is friendly and understanding, you shouldn’t worry about leaving your stuff at this place and going for a swim at a beautiful beach.

Freindly service, nice views over the beach, reasonable value considering its location. Four of us ate an evening meal with drinks. No one was disappointed, with potion size or taste. Would recommend
