I have to give Benjamin's Hut 5* even if there was a hiccup mid way through my stay.The location was perfect for me, right on the beach, walkable to cafes, yoga etcBenjamin's Hut has so many beautiful plants, a great pool, lovely bar/restaurant (with great staff!) and is really clean and well maintained (they never stop cleaning/sweeping).The bungalow was simple but very clean with a comfy bed. There was some issues with the toilet - never seemed to flush properly and one of the curtains didn't reach all the way across the window so it was lucky I bought an eye mask with me (there's bright lights outside the rooms to help if coming in late).My bungalow had a little kitchenette - which was great but the fridge froze all my food (even when turned down), the microwave - great but no plates or bowls to put in the microwave (the plates provided too big and the bowls plastic/non microwavable) so that was odd. I made scrambled eggs once in a cup the rest of time I ate out in the end (which was no problem really).The only issue of the stay was noise. This wasn't really the hotels fault but the guests. There was a gang of guys in their 20's who wear very noisy, and one night kept me awake til almost 3am. The next morning I complained and the owner said several people had complained. The rest of the nights were fine. This group of guys also higged the pool area and as a solo female it was intimidating to go to the pool when they were there.I ate food a couple of times at the restaurant, it was very good! I also became addicted to this Ginger, Lemon, Honey tea flask they serve, it was amazing and I had it everyday! Everything was made with such care and attention.The restaurant/bar closes early (last orders for food at 6:30pm)There is a cute book swap area where I left a book and took another.It is on the beach, in the morning. you can't swim but that because of the tides, you can also walk like 2 mins to the left to a beachy/swim area. I also walked up to Haad Yao which is nice too.I would really recommend Benjamin's Hut, and I would stay again.

Small hotel on the beach located in a very green setting (almost a jungle)Clean rooms with small terrace and hammock.Direct access to the beach with beachside bar. Good food at very reasonable prices, breakfast is more expensive than what you can find nearby.The beach is cleaned every day. Sea bathing depends on the tide but you can go a little further away to go snorkelling.The staff is very helpfulThe location is very good for visiting the island by renting a scooter. Nearby restaurants, massages and yoga

Excellent resort made up of functional and well-kept bungalows. Each bungalow consists of a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom. The bathroom is not very large, but still functional and clean. A large balcony completes everything. The solution is ideal for single travelers or a maximum of two people. The staff is very friendly and the level of services offered is higher than that of the official category of the resort. Excellent level of cleanliness. It's great to be able to access the beach on foot. The standard of the restaurant is also good, even if the waiting times are a bit long. Very honest price. Structure to absolutely recommend.

The best place to discover the island without compromise!Perfect and very pleasant bungalow. Family management with great care. Beautiful swimming pool, a restaurant on the beach. Always lively enough: a clever mix of atmosphere and tranquility. Hammocks, swings on the beach. The sunset live... Very good restaurant at reasonable prices. Many people come to eat there even if they don't live at Benjamin's Hut. Same day laundry cleaning service at 50bath/kg.The beach is magnificent and remains very untouched by the masses of tourists.In short, everything was perfect.

Excellent stay! We stayed 10 nights, and it’s much better than it even seems online. Room was very nice, bike rental good value at 200B/d, great quiet location for the bungalows. We’d stay again! Wish the restaurant had clearer protein-rich vegan/vegetarian options, but that’s a very special preference and plenty of places nearby.

The facility is relatively small. The prices for breakfast and lunch were reasonable. There was a baby chair. The staff were very child-friendly. The beach was not ideal for swimming due to the high and low tide. The leaves were removed from the area and beach every day. You could rent one for 250 baht/day.

A really nice, small complex with well-equipped bungalows, a pool (almost on the beach) and a beach bar including a restaurant.The bungalows are embedded in a garden that looks more like a jungle. Exotic butterflies fly everywhere and you can pet the resident kittens.The prices in the restaurant are okay. You can have a delicious breakfast and the other Thai dishes are very tasty and reasonably priced (Pad Thai for 100 THB).Several restaurants and cafés as well as a 7-Eleven are also within walking distance.The beach is nice but a bit rocky. The reef makes it very stingy at low tide, so you can't really swim. But that's why there's a pool. With a short walk on the beach you can quickly reach some of the restaurants in other hotels. And if it's not too cloudy, the best spot for the sunset is right from the beach.The location is a bit remote. But you can rent a scooter directly from the accommodation from 250THB per day. This is a pretty good way to get around the island.The bathroom could use some love. But at least it's clean.

Very nice hotel, very clean and modern rooms. The pool is clean and at night it has very pretty lights.The sea is next to the hotel, it's a shame that when we went there was low tide during the day and it rose at night, so we couldn't take advantage of the beautiful beach it has.

Oh my God, what a good experience that was.As soon as I left, I wanted to come back. It's so cosy, the surroundings are well maintained, the staff are polite, the rooms are amazing, the food is AMAZING. I also had a chance to talk to the owner, who is very warm, smiles and gave us tips on what we should visit. By the way, when we woke up the first morning, we heard a lot of noise from the renovations, but the owner herself offered to move us to another room, for which we are very grateful, because we had peace and quiet during our visit and our honeymoon.P. S. You will also have the possibility to rent a scooter here, which will keep you mobile all over the island.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Best resort on Koh Phangan and even all of Thailand in our opinion❤️ Third time visiting and already planning on coming back for three weeks next year!Clam, relaxing and serene atmosphere with simple but beautiful bungalows. The lovely Thai family who owns the place has made the entire resort into a lush and green botanical garden with an awesome pool and a great restaurant and bar. The best beach on the island is just steps from your bungalow!The staff is super cute and friendly, always smiling and will do their best to make your stay amazing<3Koh Phangan and Benjamins Hut are both truly magical places, stay for as long as you can you won’t regret it!

A little paradise without a heartA really nice place, but catastrophic management - you never feel welcome, the guests tend to be a nuisance, the staff look very frustrated - no one says hello. By far the unfriendly hotel on our two-month trip to Thailand, it's all about the money. Dirty towels, construction noise and no way to regulate the water temperature in the bathroom. Balcony railing broken and really dangerous. The icing on the cake: 3% for CC payment - I haven't paid in any other hotel. It's a shame about the beautiful place!

Benjamin's Hut is such a beautiful place! The complex is extremely well maintained and the rooms are modern, clean and lovingly furnished. Direct beach access is just the icing on the cake. The hospitable and relaxed atmosphere can only make you feel at home - thank you so much for the wonderful days we were able to spend here.

Only the best memories! The best place to stay for calm and relax holidays.First of all, the biggest thanks for the warm welcome to this wonderful family and team.Location. Nice place not crowded with tourists. A wonderful beach. The following beaches are Zen and Secret beach. The hotel itself rents excellent motorbikes.Rooms. Spacious and clean rooms with balconies. But we only sleep in them, and the whole time is in wonderful nature. There are many Yoga camps around.Environment. The owners have created a small botanical garden, booking already older photos. Now everything is green and grown up. Tree blossoms and palm trees of amazing beauty. The beach is soft sand. The pool is big and clean, very good to recover on a hot afternoon or when the sea is out.Food. The kitchen is unreal! Although the menu is not extensive, you will find both European food and local Thai food. Taste 10 points! Everything is made with love and aesthetic.Best of luck to you! Your paradise oasis will remain in our vacation memories.

We were only there for breakfast.The wait staff is attentive and the food was good. What's great is that the music isn't played too loudly.Reaggee if you like it.Recommended for comfortable seating.
