Stayed in the deluxe tent with pool and incredible views. Incredible experience. Absolutely recommended.Service is perfect. Pick up and drop off at the tent by cart. Breakfast served at the table or in the pool. Breakfast can be ordered the evening in advance from a very extensive selection. Showering in the open air is fantastic.Tip: bring earplugs because the frogs and crickets are really loud at night.

Peaceful, free, comfortable, beautiful are the definitions that Nine Hornbill is very impressed with. It is very good quality time, family time and relaxation time. Plus, the food at Pumpui restaurant is very delicious.

This place gives you the opportunity to get away, be offline and come closer to nature in a super comfortable way, here you can fall asleep with the sound of the surroundings.The wind in the trees and and different animals, gives an almost therapeutic experience 😍And since there's no TV gives you time with your partner and to come closer to each other.The garden around the the tents gives good cover from the neighbor tents so you have a good feel of privacy and still having an amazing view to the ocean ❤️This is not the last time I will come here

Super delicious experience, with the most beautiful view in Thailand.The food at the hotel was really good.The bed was a treat.The staff were helpful.So if you would like to have a romantic experience away from a busy everyday life, it can definitely be recommended.

We had the most amazing 4 nights stay in 9 hornbills tented camps!The view is to die for and it felt like a slice of paradise! We booked through the resort website and I highly recommend to book through them. They provided a round trip private land transfer from Phuket airport (around 25 mins ride) round trip shared speedboat from the pier in Phuket (around 30 mins ride) and a round trip pickup/drop off from the pier at Koh Yao Noi to their resort (around 25 mins ride). Breakfast was included and they also gave us complimentary 30 mins massage per person which was a pleasant surprise!Most importantly, the tented camps are for adults only, thus it was really peaceful and all we heard throughout our stay was the birds chirping away and it was also a butterflies heaven. We were lucky to spot 5 hornbills flying our villa.The staff Kokai was always available via WhatsApp, whenever we needed the buggy to bring us to the main resort Koh Yao Island resort, we just needed to text her.Throughout our stay, we were just happy to be in our villa and our private swimming pool, admiring the gorgeous view. And the floating breakfast was just too pretty.One point to note, the aircon in the villa is an eco aircon, so do not expect it to be cold, we requested for extra fans so we could be more comfortable.All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and we could have stayed for another week easily!

Absolutely stunning tents located on a hill with breathtaking views of the sea, secluded enough so you don’t see or hear anyone from your tent, but just a 2 minute drive to the sea/reception/restaurant (I highly recommend renting a scooter so you don’t have to call the reception to send you a golf cart every time you want to leave your room).The tents feel really luxurious, with a wonderful private pool, humongous bed, inside and outside shower, and everything else you can imagine. The beach in front of the hotel is probably the best one on the island, not subject to high and low tide as much as the other ones. The only major area of improvement for this hotel is the restaurant, definitely not good quality food, and not a great choice for breakfast. All the rest was amazing!

A beautiful piece of earth!The transfer from Phuket airport went smoothly. The tents are super beautiful, great and luxuriously equipped. You can jump directly into your own pool via the beautifully landscaped veranda. We are very happy to have had this experience.Together with the great beach and food from the Koyao Island Resort, the family atmosphere, it was all in all a successful and very relaxed vacation.

An amazing place if you want to spend time in peace and solitude. The tents offer a magnificent view of the islands. Various birds and even toucans fly to the tents, and monitor lizards crawl. A couple of rather large individuals were encountered on the territory.The tent has everything you need: cosmetics and personal hygiene items. Towels, robes, we even had a yoga mat.Daily cleaning and animaskite treatment.A tropical shower outside in the heat is simply a salvation.Private pool in each villa, and a communal pool with excellent views on the lower level near the restaurant.The area is clean and well maintained.You can call a tuk tuk to the restaurant, it arrives quite quickly, but we studied the route and walked. On the way between the tents and the restaurant there is a small store with food and alcohol.Now about the cons.Let's start with the fact that they forgot to send a transfer for us; we were sailing from Phuket.The service is very lame. Breakfast was brought to our room only on the last day))) although we filled out an application for it every day. When they realized that they couldn’t wait for breakfast, they went down to the restaurant themselves, by this moment the buffet was almost empty, in general, they ate what they had time for)))Room service is 24 hours a day, but delivery is very long. The food in the restaurant is not tasty, almost all of it, the shrimp in the salad were “sweet”, we asked to replace it, they brought us exactly the same ones. Caesar salad according to a “special” recipe with bacon))) The most delicious food was the papaya salad, sandwiches and omelette for breakfast.But on the island there are a huge number of local cafes with very low prices and simply huge, very tasty portions.One of the hotel employees was a pleasant, well-fed Thai guy, he took us away in a tuk tuk and showed us excellent establishments on the island, picking us up at the right time.

We had the most beautiful weekend staying at 9Hornbills. The views were incredible. Being able to walk out of your tent to watch the sun rise over islands is something that everyone should experience! My boyfriend thought that 9Hornbills was so beautiful that it was the perfect place to PROPOSE and I am so glad he did. 9Hornbills and Koh Yao Yai will hold a special place in our hearts.We loved the tent - highlights definitely being the bath tub, the outdoor shower and having your own private pool.The service was amazing from start to finish. Staff added flower arrangements to our tent after being told of our engagement and the manager, Caroline, was so welcoming and friendly - she was a delight to be around 🥰We were so sad to be leaving and hope to be back soon ❤️

Had an amazing stay and experience at the 9 hornbills. The entire experience was something I will never forget, the food is amazing as well as the accommodation.Koh Yao Noi is an incredible island and I believe its one of my favourite islands in thailand and also the 9 hornbills is one if, if not the best place I have stayed.
