Moved out after a day, many small things like the cleanliness, noise from the road and the cherry on top, the smell of piss, specially in the morning. The location at the pond is really nice and I enjoyed sitting there, but that’s about it. One pluspoint are the people in that region, super friendly. For that price not worth it in my opinion and needs a good cleaning and tidying up.Edit: we traveled around Thailand and stayed in 14 different places. This and another place are the only ones, we have bad memories of

The relaxed and really decelerating location.Mr Bang was incredibly nice and tried to make our stay as good as possible.He helped us with the kayaks, he drove us to the market (always Saturday), organized us a tour of Phang Nga with a friend from the nearby fishing village.In the end he took us conveniently to the bus station to Phang-nga.We can recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to escape the mass tourism and spend a few nice, relaxing days here.

Completely outdated and moldy accommodation. Not a nice look. Most of the day it is low tide and you look out over wasteland and are bitten by mosquitoes.The host was nice. But other locals harassed them and tried to make fun of them. Worst experience in Thailand so far!NO RECOMMENDATION!!

A hidden gem in Bangphat seaside. Located next to the mangrove forest, we were glad to stay here (away from the touristy Phuket town). Just like the name, Calm at Bangphat, two nights staying in serenity and absolute calmness is how we felt after check out. Mr Bang was friendly and hospitable. We felt very welcome under his roof. Not to mention that it is a 5 min walk to the local fishing village with an excellent seafood menu which we enjoyed very much. This beautiful village also offers the most spectacular sunset we have ever seen. In case you wonder what to do around this area, a drive of 45 mins, you can go for a kayak trip( and visit 4 caves: the ko tham lod, phi hua toh cave, tham lid nea cave(lagoon), anaconda cave. Overall, this is the best highlight of our trip. We will miss this place!Thank you again for the hospitality.

We spent 2 nights there! The place was calm and magnificent and the host took great care. Restaurants are 10-15 minutes walk away on a floating village. It's worth the detour :)

The owner gave us false information via booking:- scooter rental on site, although this is impossible (no rental company and he refuses to make his own available, raising his voice, even though he had announced it as possible)- excursion to Phang Nga Bay at 2000 baths/pers which becomes 2500 baths/pers once there (i.e. 2 to 3 times the price commonly applied for this excursion)Once there, under a pleasant exterior, the owner traps you: he offers to take you where to withdraw money 5 minutes away by scooter, to finally stop at a gas pump and tell you to pay for his tank.The place being very isolated, you become entirely dependent on it.Conclusion: don't trust the owner!

Calm and soothing place to interact with nature with amazing birds visiting and beautiful fishes. Very welcoming and helpful host Mr.Bang and his family. True taste of sea food found around 11 min walk. Smiling people all around, nice experience

Advantages:- bed, conditioning, fridge, tea pot and cups - all good- the host met us quite late in the evening (around 10pm)Disadvantages:- no hot water in the shower- no curtain in the shower, water is everywhere- you can actually see the pond between the floor's elements- lots of insects around the house (and a few inside)

The accommodation has a good atmosphere, next to the mangrove forest. There are 3 houses that look clean, looking like small wooden houses on the water, with a high level of privacy. The service owner is very good and friendly. Recommended for people who want to stay in seclusion...

Right on the edge of the mangroves, next to a river.
At high tide you can canoe from the side of the rooms.

This place is really nice ! You are 20 minutes away from the city, in a very authentic area. The bungalows are above a lake, just next to mangroves. Super calm and really relaxing.Mr Bang, the host, is really caring and will take care of everything you need. You can use bikes and kayaks for free and also ask him to rent motorbike, for 300BHT/day, which is really helpful to move around the area and explore.You can ride a bike for 5 minutes to go to a phishing village, which is really authentic, beautiful and the food is delicious !If you don’t care too much about the bugs, and your are looking for a more remote/calm location, I totally recommend !Thank you Mr Bang 🙏🏻

Quiet place, not far from the main road, easily found it. The room was nice and cosy, with a beautiful view. We spent just only one night, but we will go back again for sure. We had water in the fridge, coffee and snacks for breakfast. Tv and internet, but to be honest we didn’t use them, just enjoy the silence. We loved it, highly recommended…

A quiet hidden place right in front of a quarry lake. The owner is very friendly. He wrote some post it notes to great us and show us the room, later in the evening he came by. It feels like u got the place to yourself, cause not many people are around. The rooms smelt very nice, comfy bed and a nice little terrace outside. Although everything was great, the shower was very cold.
