SAMSAM Yao Noi - ANDAMAN MAGIC & ART VILLAS

The SAMSAM on Yao Noi is a facility that impresses at first glance with its well-thought-out details and a unique atmosphere. The complex promises relaxation and exclusivity. Unfortunately, this potential is not achieved due to disappointing staff and inadequate amenities. Overall, SAMSAM Yao Noi could improve its quality and reputation by working on training staff, especially the manager Pooky, and ensuring all amenities meet standards. I give it 3 stars.

Gorgeous villas surrounded by beautiful gardens and views of the coast and jungle. Exceptionally responsive service, great food.Only very slight downside is it's a 10 minute walk to a beach with limited options, then another 20 mins to the main beach and restaurants. So it's best if you have a scooter or get a taxi.

Beautiful place, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful view to the beach. We came 4 adults, 3 kids and 2 babies and had a great time together. The beach is within 5 minutes walk. Quiet and pleasant place if you want a getaway from loudly Phuket

This place was a relaxing and luxurious paradise! The staff is absolutely wonderful. The Railey Villa was amazing, you never want to leave the room. The delicious breakfast is served in your room. I loved practicing yoga in the dojo. Highly recommend.

We spent a 3-day holiday at SamSam Resort in Ko Yao Noi this May, not expecting for a second that we would immediately fit into the place as serenely as the place fitted itself flawlessly amidst the island's nature.We were surprised to see some of the rarest birds such as the hornbill, which seemed to enjoy SamSam's wooden roof tiles!The staff were impressively very professional and amongst the best examples of sincere Thai hospitality.It didn't take us long to feel truly welcome, and to have a sense of staying in a private property rather than a commercial resort.What really captured our minds is the natural silence surrounding the place, the hills covered with forests and rubber tree plantations on one side, and the most stunning sea view on the other side with dozens of splendidly scenic karstic rock concretions: better than the world famous Halong Bay, as the sea water features many shades of tropical blues.Guests we met during our stay were all friendly, unstressed, and easy to talk to. All with the attitude that they are at the right place to come back to their real self, for at least the length of their stay.The massage service was rejuvenating, soothing, and even correcting old pains.There are a number of free of charge bicycles to discover the island and motorcycles for rent for a little 10US Dollars per day.There is genuine, unrepeatable art by contemporary Asian artists on the walls of the cottages, rooms and common spaces, giving a sense of exclusivity and refinement. Quite tempting to actually ask if any were for sale, as some were really mind, heart and guts catching. Not the usual commercial wall senseless paintings!Overall, a true immersion into a non tourist oriented Thailand as the one I discovered and loved at once 35 years ago.I'll definitely come back and warmly recommend it to my friends.

Amazing place ☆☆☆☆☆We stayed here for a couple of weeks here and a family of 3. The staff super friendly even if some of them can't speak english fluently, its easily fixed by google Translate.The room is clean and the facilities are great. The food is also amazing 👏 🤩 even if most of them are spicy for Western standards. It will still be spicy even if you ask for no-spicy. My recommendations will be the coconut curry tom kha and they chiken wings.Also, make sure you mention to the staff if you have any food allergies.The hotel also has nice bicycles for you to rent, but u would recommend getting a motorbike due to the terrain on this island.

The staff are super friendly and accommodating and make sure you feel at home.Everything was taken care of excellently, the food was delicious, the service was great and whenever we had a question or concern, Pooky helped us.One of the most beautiful accommodations we have experienced so far.We would come again!
