The location of the hotel is fine. It's cool and away from it all.If you want to be close to the town, don't come here.The rooms are very dark, the mattress that touched us was horrible, it had a brutal descent in the middle and we were sinking all the time.They didn't clean our room every day, with the rain and humidity of the place I think that at least the towels should be changed, because they were very wet.We were not lucky with the activities organized by them. I do not recommend trekking in the jungle at all. It's a VERY simple hike that you can do for free, paying just the entrance fee to the park, and they do it at a very expensive price.We had a bad experience and they charged us the same for the whole tour, and we didn't do it normally. They invited us to dinner and all for the inconvenience, but I was not at all satisfied with the experience.I hope they can improve their business.I recommend that before you choose any activity, find out what it is like and what it offers and look at the options to do it for free, especially if you are adventurous and already do mountain activities normally.

The weather has not been with us during our stay, but it is an authentic place for adventurous people who want to feel contact with nature. With the space they have, they could take advantage of expanding the range of activities on rainy days with yoga or other workshops in addition to cooking. It has great potential and I hope I can go back outside the rainy season and see how it has evolved.

The location is very beautiful, perfect for a trip to the national park and the jungles are in good condition (bats and salamanders can enter). However, the jungle tour we arranged from the property was a bit disappointing and expensive. The people here are not super friendly either.

Jungalows are wonderfully located in the middle of the jungle. You are surrounded by birds, animals, plants and mountains. Very nice view from your room. The restaurant has all options for food. They even have halal options. Dishes were delicious. They were very helpful and friendly. Arranging tours from them is easy and well organised. The rooms have no air conditioning and are open. This means a lot of insects and animals in your room.

Absolutely loved staying here. Very remote and nowhere else to eat when here but food was good. I loved that the jungalows were open to any critters although the only ones I saw were ghekos. …

All staff were extremely welcoming and friendly.The rooms were great, they were comfortable and well constructed, but still gave the feeling you were sleeping in the jungle.As for the restaurant it was possibly the best Thai food we had eaten on our entire trip in Thailand and we could not get enough of it.Bastian organised all of our tours for us and gave great advice on what each tour included. The tour guides they could choose were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.I would highly recommend staying here when choosing accommodation in Kaoh Sok.

The accommodation is in a beautiful place and the gardens are lovely. However we found the staff quite sullen and not very welcoming. It was very isolated so there’s not really any other option other than to eat at their restaurant and do the tours organized by them. We booked the lake tour and had a very unpleasant experience. The majority of the day was spent waiting around for everyone to get on and off the boat. We were promised a hike and kayaking and there was absolutely no hike. There was 5 kayaks for a group of about 35 tourists so we didn’t get a chance to go kayaking either. The whole tour included going to one cave and then ‘downtime’ at some cabins. It was extremely overpriced for what it was and the groups are far too large for any sort of efficiency. You also have to pay in cash at the end for all your accommodation and trips with is very inconvenient as the nearest atm is a taxi ride away. I wouldn’t recommend this accommodation if you’re visiting Khao sok.
