The closest route to BTS PAYATHAI is not luggage-friendly. There's a path of about 500 meters filled with small gravel, which caused damage to the wheels of our suitcases.

People check in this hotel because they are on a budget just like me. I don't have high expectations when I back pack but DT exceeded my expectation. They gave us a room with a duck pond view. The only issue we had was the leaking sink but I kicked the bin under and voila! Problem solved.Just be wary of sam's tour in the lobby. They rent there according to the staff and not in house. I paid in full for a 2-day trip. After the end of the first day he deposited the money I paid him at the bank while we wait in the van. Next day he was late. We looked for him and had to wake him up in his van. THEN he borrowed gas money and promised to pay. We then proceeded to a floating market with an elephant riding camp across. We fed some elephants and Did NOT ride those poor animals. We fed one with its head roped closed to a post and one leg chained. We did not leave until the poor elephant was fed. Yes I reported this to an NGO. I was told they did something. I hope the god of karma will punish the man who tied this elephant to break it to submission.Anyway, I gave money to buy corn (food for the elephants) but was not honest which I found out after buying on my own.100bhat for 5 plates of corn. He gave me two which is 50bhat only. Honesty is honesty no matter the amount. Anyway after not being sales talked to his eager pleadings that he can take us to the airport on the day of our flight, I said no. He eventually gave back the money a few minutes before check out. Guy is lacking professionalism and was not honest in the elephant food. He is a walking red flag. Beware.

Let me talk about the problems of this hotel first. When I entered the room, there was a strong toilet smell. There were cockroaches. There were dogs barking early in the morning. There was no lighting in my room. I was charged a 500 deposit. When I checked out, I was told that I used dirty hotel towels and that 100 deposit would be deducted from me. I was shocked. Not to mention that the towel was very, very old. I just rubbed a little makeup on it and it was very small. An elderly couple at the front desk insisted on deducting a 100 deposit and said that the cleaning fee was more than 100. I don’t know how they had the nerve to lie like this. Left the worst impression on my trip to Thailand

Great general location at end of high rail link from airport although navigating to hotel is via back lanes is sketchy. Bugs. No kettle in room. Wrong choice for hotel. I would not stay there again, there are better hotels better value in the neighborhood.

This is the first time i stayed at such a bad hotel in my life.1) The hotel is dark2) A lot of cockroaches all around the room and insects inside. The room is not clean.3) No water heater, no shower cap...4) The bathroom water cannot flow, when i take the shower, the floor was flooded.5) In the early morning, when i using the toilet, realized that there is no water supply. Called to receptionist asked for help, the receptionist said this is due to the water pump problem, after 30 minutes will settled. But after 1 hour, we realized still dont have water supply, we called to receptionist again, they said will help us to have a look as they dont believe that there is still no water supply. After we requested to change to another room to take a shower they only allowed. This is such a terrible experience i stayed in hotel

Don't book this hotel, the rooms are not good and dark, the wifi is very bad, the refrigerator doesn't work, they say they clean every day. LOL. I didn't say that I went to Pattaya, but how did they know? is there CCTV in the room? or voice recording? HAHAH and I left the hotel only 1 day. Then when I returned, the room was damp and the mattress felt wet. Then they gave us a dirty cover and put it next to the bed as if it wouldn't be seen. Then when you want to checkout. They will say “What did you do with the mattress?” We will charge you a fee. LOL Good tactic, right? Be careful with hotels like this, especially since this hotel has a bad star. The receptionists and workers are all deceitful and bad. Never book this hotel.
