I had an absolutely wonderful stay at HOG in Bangkok. This small, charming place offers the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, allowing for a restful night’s sleep. The location is ideal, with easy access to all the special spots, including markets, restaurants, and other attractions.The lady who runs the place is exceptionally sweet and kind, making sure every guest feels welcomed and taken care of. The hotel is spotless, with a high standard of cleanliness throughout. It’s clear that attention to detail is a priority here. Plus, the convenience of having the WiFi password on the room key tag is a thoughtful touch.Overall, I highly recommend HOG for anyone visiting Bangkok. It’s a quiet, clean, and well-located gem in the city. Five stars all the way!

Family run hostel in a secluded Thai residential neighborhood on the Thonburi side of Bangkok. The rooms are simple and clean and the host family are friendly and accommodating. Location could be a bit challenging if you are a tourist looking for entertainment. If you enjoy walking, Chinatown is about a 30 minute walk, Wat Arun about 10 minutes, Khao San about an hour walk. There’s a kindergarten next door, gets very noisy during the day.

Located in the center of Kudejeen Chinatown, within walking distance of Bangkok's main attractions and Santa Cruz Curch. And close to the Chao Praya river pier.The owners are friendly.

The hog has comfortable rooms with air-condition. The owners are extremely nice. There is a little garden and a balcony where it's allowed to smoke.
In this very busy city, the hog has an ideal location on a small street. So, it is very quiet for a good sleep. The location is central, close to a couple of temples

My husband and I stayed at the Hog for a couple of days when we arrived in Bangkok, and afterwards for another week during our massage training. It was a perfect island of tranquility in Bangkok for us. Walking distance to Wat Arun, Flower market and Wat Pho. Just around the corner - the Portuguese quarters with cute tiny streets and cafes. The owner and her son were very welcoming and accommodating. There are free coffee, water and snacks. Common area with a microwave, cups and kettle in the room. We were on a ground floor and could enjoy our breakfast in the small garden.

Beautiful place. A little away from the main noisy city, located in a quiet place. The owner and his mother are wonderful! Very hospitable. The rooms are small, but very clean and cozy! There is everything you need, the only negative I can name is the noisy air conditioner, but this is nonsense. Well, it’s clearly time to replace the mattresses, they are worn out. I recommend it to anyone who wants silence. 15 minutes to the metro. 30-35 minutes to the shopping center.

This was a great homestay for me and my partner to visit in what we felt was a quieter part of Bangkok. It wasn't the easiest to find as we arrived at night and it's not got a reception or anything - I recommend getting in touch with them if you're arriving late so they know, we had a nice taxi driver who spoke to them on the phone for us which was really lucky 🙏It was walking distance (20 mins) to the nearest MRT station and we had good places to eat within walking distance too (Love Cheese, My Grandparents House, Good Friday Brunch). We actually walked to Chinatown too and felt safe at night on the roads, it's a bit more of a trek though - 30-40 minsWe were looked after by an older woman who speaks good English and gave us advice on where to go locally as well as helping us out with getting taxis.You can wash your clothes on the top floor for 60 baht (needs to be in coins) and you can hang them out on the top floor.They also provided water cups in the fridge for you and bottles of water in the room. Coffee and crackers were also there and the little balcony is on the second floor which was nice to sit at and do some work - although the top floor had a better view and much more space which I only realized when I did washing on the last day 🤦♂️5 stars overall as it was perfect for our stay but the 3 stars for rooms was because the bed was very hard and we saw a few ants around the room. Although the curtains were blackout and the room stayed very cold even in the day so wasn't all bad by any means. Wifi also very good 👍Overall enjoyed it and would recommend 😀

Sleep comfortably, have drinking water, free coffee, have a kettle, cool, quiet air conditioner, ensuite bathroom, good water heater, good water pressure, the owner is friendly. Deducted 1 star for the bathroom. The room you stayed in had water leaking on the floor near the toilet. Must use a towel to wipe it up.

I arrived an hour early and was immediately seated. The owner is an amazingly kind woman! She even helped me drag my suitcase to the second floor!!! Special thanks to her for keeping the house clean!!! This is such a rarity for hotels. Everywhere is perfectly clean!!!! There is a shared kitchen - there is a refrigerator, microwave, dishes, and a balcony. There is a huge terrace at the top of the house. I really liked the loft style interior. Wifi is decent. Quiet, cozy, everything is there. Nearby attractions, seven minutes from the house!

The host was super friendly, helped us a lot with all the questions we had, and let me check in before the time since I had a lot of bags with me. You can do your own laundry. There is coffee, water and snacks available. There is a nice rooftop on the last floor that I recommend using in the evening when it's not so warm anymore. The location was quite central, but 10 minutes walking from the nearest bus stop (the bus times are always unreliable though, so I recommend using grab or bolt). The room was clean, but rather small. However, the price was very good for the location. We also had the keys for the outside door, which is very safe.

This is a guesthouse located in the Kudi Ching area, which has the atmosphere of a good old downtown area of Bangkok.The rooms are simple but clean.It seems like it is managed by an old lady by herself, so don't expect too much. So it's for people who are used to traveling and just need a clean bed. One problem is that there are no decent restaurants nearby. You have to eat at tourist spots or take out. It's a bit of a walk from the MRT.Feel the unique tranquility that is a mixture of Portuguese, Chinese, and Thai culture while wandering through the alleyways.
