In the morning I had coffee while hanging out. Since arriving, I have tasted very delicious Sapit arabica coffee, Kapahiyang Bengkulu arabica coffee, Santong robusta coffee from Santong KLU (north Lombok district). The atmosphere of Sapit village with its Balelangga views and the stunning sun rise. Anyway, wow and a very warm welcome. Thank you very much

I visited Balelangga for dinner. the ambience is nice but the mie goreng I ordered was the worst I had in 5 months travelling in Indonesia. half of the noodles were stuck together and impossible to eat... they saw my plate almost full at the end of the mean and didn't care at all

Came here for lunch and coffee - beautiful outlook, delicious home made pizza made from sourdough starter, and I love as happy to try local Indonesian coffee beans and have the chance to smell and learn about them.

As a female solo traveler, I always prioritize feeling comfortable and welcomed wherever I stay, and Balelangga Bed-and-Breakfast in Sapit, Indonesia, exceeded all my expectations. The people working there were incredibly nice, and the staff was attentive and genuinely dedicated to making me feel at home. The food was absolutely amazing – the owner Ronny grows a variety of vegetables and fruits in his garden (passion fruit, bananas, mango, avocado, you name it!), which he uses in his cooking. The cooking is great (don’t forget to try to banana bread!), everything homemade with a large focus on organic produce. As a coffee lover, I was also thrilled with the wide range of different coffees available. One of the highlights of my stay was when Ronny took me on a tour around the area; we went to black vulcano beaches, the hidden gillis, amazing viewpoints and other hidden gems. It was an incredibly authentic experience that I will always cherish. I initially planned to stay for just one day but ended up extending my stay because I was having such a great time. The location of Balelangga is beautiful, offering views of lush greenery and various plantations, which made dining there a delightful experience. The bedroom is basic and the private bathroom is quite rustic, featuring a western toilet with a flush method of scooping water as well as no sink. Another thing to note is that the bed and breakfast is located next to a mosque, where you can hear prayers during the day/night. This is a common aspect of village life in the area, so it’s important to manage your expectations accordingly.Overall, I had an absolute blast at Balelangga Bed-and-Breakfast and could not recommend it enough. If you're looking for a warm, welcoming, and authentic stay in Sapit, this is the place to be!
