I really enjoyed my one night stay at Kayana. My villa was very spacious and comfortable. I loved the privacy, the layout of the villa, the beautiful property, the views, the food, the level of service. I stayed right after a 3-day hike of Rinjani volcano and really appreciated having my own pool, outdoor shower and a big tub to soak my sore muscles in.. Bed was extemely comfortable, especially after two nights in a sleeping bag in a tent.

A pearl with privacy!We stayed at this resort for 3 nights and would have liked to stay longer.We had the Deluxe Villa (which as far as we know is the cheapest category) and we were still thrilled. I think the video says it all. The private pool is not deep and is absolutely perfect for cooling off.Minibar with non-alcoholic drinks is included once.The service was always extremely courteous, always extremely friendly and always available.Food: It was simply wonderful! Maybe a few vegetarian dishes on the menu wouldn't hurt. But: There were always meat-free alternatives when asked. 👍🏻Breakfast is a la carte and therefore always freshly prepared. You can always reorder something.All meals can be ordered In Villa at no extra charge. A very pleasant service. Afternoon tea was also included.The restaurant is at the top of the hill, where you have a great view of the island and the sea - very nice!So that you don't have to walk the 100 steps to the restaurant, there is a shuttle service by golf cart - a quick call to reception is all it takes.Spa: Balinese massage 😍 - the price is almost too cheap at around €35 for 80 minutes.Sea: Part of the beach is private and therefore reserved for hotel guests. A seller approached us and wanted to sell us chains. Since we didn't have any cash with us... 😉The water is quite shallow, so it is advisable to stay between private areas and the boats, then you can reach the deeper part of the water and the edge of the reef. There are also fish to see there. I was also able to see a turtle. But: There are significantly better reefs.

Wonderful hotel, with wonderful staff. We loved our time here in every way except two:1: the nearby Masjid is so loud that you cannot have a conversation in the reception during the call to prayer. In fact, it is so loud that even in the far away beachside villas, it will wake you up at 4am when the call to prayer goes out.2. The kitchen is great for most things, especially a fantastic breakfast, but they cannot do a ribeye well. I ordered it medium once, and got a well done boiled steak with no crust. Just a grey damp piece of overcooked meat. I sent it back, and got a new one that was also just cooked (not fried) but now slightly raw. Pretty disgusting.

This resort is the best value place I’ve ever stayed at. Coming from Australia where you pay through the nose for everything and more often than not, the service is lacking. Here, it’s clear that having a job is a privilege and they certainly know how to treat you. Nothing was too much to ask. We had a driver who took us to the zoo and waited 3.5 hours for us. We were also taken to the hospital and they translated the nurses and doctors for us.The food was incredible and safe. The room was incredibly comfortable, clean and well serviced.The private room with a pool was simply unbeatable.Special mention goes out to Nora and Defri (restaurant), Heru and Wayan (office) and Robby. Housekeeping were also friendly and professional. Thank you all for your service.Terima kasih.
