I've stayed at this hotel twice, and the staff are wonderful and it's a great value for money hotel. The hotel itself feels old, but every corner is immaculately cleaned. The elevators and air conditioners are made by Mitsubishi Electric. The refrigerator is large and convenient. Also, the breakfast is delicious.Convenient transportation is available as there are MRT and Japanese National Railway stations. Chinatown is just a short walk away, so you won't have any trouble finding food. A 7-Eleven is also nearby. There is a lot of traffic around rooms along the river with beautiful views, and the sound of tuk-tuks and other vehicles can sometimes be heard up to the room, so those who are sensitive to noise may need to be careful when choosing a room along the river. There are 2 washing machines on the rooftop, available for 50baht. You can also dry it.

It is easily accessible in front of the station, and breakfast is served buffet style. Also, the upper floors have a good view and the night view is beautiful. However, the shower is a bit disappointing, perhaps because the building or facilities are old, but other than that I have no complaints.

The photos on the internet are misleading. Most of them show the cafeteria, which is the only thing renovated in this hotel, the rest is very old and without any updates.-The hotel is very old and quite shabby. The facilities and rooms are not modern at all. When we arrived I had to check the Agoda reservation because it seemed like another hotel. On the fire extinguishers in the hallway the date was 67...-We had the "Deluxe" room so we don't want to imagine what the basic ones were like. The shower is not separated from the rest of the bathroom so be prepared to have a hard time if you want to shower. The balcony had such a crack that we didn't even dare step on it.-The second day the wifi did not work. When we discussed it at reception they responded that they couldn't do anything and that for 500 bahts they gave us access to a private wifi that did work. Wi-Fi is included in the price we paid for the room and not even that worked. If you know that the Wi-Fi does not work, do not include it as a hotel extra. So it's better not to have internet access during your stay. We had to go to Starbucks to connect.-The free breakfast buffet was quite poor. Come on, we ate watermelon and a sad jam toast. We have stayed in several hotels in Bangkok and there are a thousand times better options for 4-star hotels, closer to the main temples, cheaper and having some life in case you feel like going out for a drink at night. It is not worth paying for this hotel.

I do not advise you for anything in the world to go to this hotel. I explain why:-The internet photos DO NOT correspond to reality. If you look closely, almost all the photos are of the dining room and the hall (which is the only decent thing).-The hotel looks like something out of the Cold War. It's super old and shabby. The facilities and rooms are not modern at all. When I entered it made me feel quite disgusted and repulsed.-The second day the wifi did not work. When I told the reception they told me that they couldn't do anything and that for 500 baths they gave me access to a private wifi that worked. 500 baths? Are you kidding me? Wi-Fi is included in the price you pay for the room and not even that worked. Look, let their grandmother get scammed.-The free breakfast buffet is the poorest I have ever seen. I have literally eaten watermelon and a sad piece of industrial jam toast.I'm not one to give negative reviews, but my morals have been touched here. Disastrous experience. We have stayed in several hotels in Bangkok and there are thousands of better 4-star hotel options. It is not worth paying for this hotel.
