At the Locanda I felt a bit at home: excellent welcome and dialogue, willingness to provide information, very good food. It is located in a strategic position close to the Hua Lampong subway and the train station as well as the Chao Praya river, therefore you have the possibility of easily connecting to the rest of the city.It is also close to China Town and other attractions such as markets and temples. My boyfriend and I stayed two nights in this hotel and I must say that we are very satisfied.We had a great time, Carlo was very thoughtful in giving us all kinds of advice so we could move around Bangkok in complete serenity.All the staff were extremely kind to us.In a very short time you arrive in the most tourist areas and this is very important!If we ever return to Thailand, we know we can count on "The Inn". A guarantee.

The hotel is run by a family and has that personal touch to it. The room and washroom was well kept. The staff contacted us well in advance to check on our arrival. The breakfast was really nice and homely.

I loved staying here. Other travellers have gripes about stairs and neighbor hood sounds but this is part of the appeal.Top service and care from Rak who manages. She was helpful in suggestions and is connected so can help find activities and get better prices for guests.If I was to visit Bangkok again I would stay here in this full of life, Thai experience down where the action is in the back lanes.Food, ATM, convenience stores, easy to get around and some food eateries.I frequented Espresso cafe to work from a few times just 50m away on the main round about.The food stall 88 right opposite the small mini mart does excellent Pad See Ew and was 50THB!

It is the cheapest place to stay in Yaowarat. There are shops selling inexpensive food. As you can see here, most of them are foreign tourists. It's not cheap food. Other things are also cheap..come visit and see.

Very pleasant location and close to Chinatown. I do recommend only booking here if you don't have to be there much. The rooms are equipped with what is necessary but not much space. This was fine for us as we had planned tours and trips.Staff was friendly & helpful🙂.

It was a building connected to the dormitory I used five years ago.I thought this was the room I had booked because the room reservation confirmation email included an advertised room photo (with a white frame).Even when I suggested displaying photos to prevent this kind of thing from happening, the owner didn't want to listen and just said what he thought.Climbing the bunk bed ladder is painful even though the footing is small.There is no refrigerator for guests to use, and there is no TV.Water bottles only on the first day, refill from water dispenser on later daysThe towels were changed only once every two days, which is unusual. They didn't tell me about it at the beginning, so I had a hard time using them on the second day. The towels were thin, like a larger face towel.There is only one hangerthe room is smallThe stairs to the second floor are narrow and steepThe lamp next to the bed in the room does not turn on.The door to the shower room is bellow-style, so the bath mat gets wet.For some reason, there was one day when there was no mat.It's strange.At this time, I stayed for $20, but there are many normal hotels at this price, even $15 is not an option for me.Breakfast was bread, eggs, and one drink such as coffee.It was light and delicious, but the menu was the same for 4 days.The staff in charge of meals were friendly and helpful.In conclusion, there is no need to stay in Chinatown, and I regret that I should have stayed in the Silom area since the subway is convenient.

Comfortable and decently sized rooms. Had the 3 person room and it was a good size where our friends from other rooms came in to hang out and we can eat together. Very clean and well maintained building. Decent neighborhood as well. The walls seem to be thin but it was still a very quiet stay.

The room was fine, we slept well. Just the sound insulation is not optimal. This guesthouse have a laundry service, and the breakfast was delicious. Just 10min by walk to Chinatown. You can let your luggage at the reception if you arrive too before the check in. Good value for money.

First stay ok Just the second time, going to stay at home is not okay. The room is not very clean, there are no tissues, no towels, the air conditioner is moldy, the room wall on the balcony has a hole. Paying more than before but not ok Good service staff But the room is a bit scary.

The room was great, large bed, full bathroom, everything very clean, the only bad thing is that you can't open the curtains because they see you from the outside, it's in front of a parking lot, there's a lot of noise, but it's close to everything, good location. The guy at the reception gave us very good advice, so don't hesitate to ask!

The overall condition in the room is ok. But I would like to deduct a star because of the owner of the accommodation. That is, my friend and I checked in late because we were traveling in a lot of traffic. So I had to take the key from the cabinet and unlock the room myself. That is, we understand that the owner of the property has already told us how to enter the room via Line. But at that time I was very tired and wanted to go to my accommodation quickly. So I turned the key into the wrong building because I couldn't find the building I was staying at. When the host walked by, we were very reassured, but you came back and sarcastically said why you didn't look on Line. We admit that we were wrong for not looking carefully. But we wonder why you don't tell us nicely, you can use good words and talk kindly to us. Can't you sacrifice even a minute of your time to help customers who are staying? Because the room is in an alley which is hard to find. Then you have to walk up the stairs in the building, which are quite steep. And the room we were in didn't have a clear room number, which created confusion and made it impossible to find the room. Once we entered the room The owner of the accommodation immediately greeted me and asked for the remaining room fee. which we are ready and willing to pay But we feel bad because earlier we couldn't find a room and had you say bad things to us. Instead, you ask about well-being, such as how the customer is doing. Have you found the room yet? Can you enter the room yet? Came back quickly to demand the money. My friends and I felt very lost. I wonder if we really deserve this kind of service.

The owners are very polite and helpful. I booked the smallest room available since I travelled solo and I used the room only for sleeping and showering, as I was out sightseeing for the rest of the day. The room served perfectly its purpose. The location is excellent, at walking distance to the blue MRT and Chinatown.

Went to stay on June 13th. Good price. We booked a large room with 1 double bed. and small bed 1 Can accommodate a maximum of 3 people. Not sure if you have to pay extra? But we were staying with just the two of us and my mother. The 3rd floor has steep stairs, difficult to climb up and down, and is dark. There is a sensor above the staircase, but by the time it's installed it's already in front of the room. The flash must be turned on when walking up and down. I want the guesthouse owner to install normal light bulbs.Comfortable bed The room is beautiful, clean and fragrant. The air conditioner is cool and comfortable. There is a refrigerator and sink on the balcony behind the room. There is a kettle and cups but no coffee, no TV, only tissues in the bathroom. There is a dining table. small sofa, dressing table The bathroom is big and looks nice. The soap dispenser is difficult to press. I can't press it because I bought the shower cream. The shuttered window in the bathroom does not have two blinds covering it. When the wind blows, the blinds open. So we bought Scotch tape to cover it up. Delicious breakfast There are two cute cats. The owner of the guesthouse is a foreigner. The employee is also a foreigner who can speak a little Thai. It's easier to understand when talking to staff who speak English. The accommodation is not far from Chinatown, Wat Traimit, Wat Mangkon (Leng Nei Yi 1) and MRT Wat Mangkon. Can walkAdditional amendments The room door has a simple knob latch. I would like the guest house to install additional door locks inside the room.If there is a chance, I will definitely go to stay again.

I feel a little sorry for the friendly Thai woman who co-owns the place giving this bad review but her boyfriend doesn't deserve any better.Something went wrong with the booking process and even if the mistake would have been on my side (which I doubt but can't be sure about) his attitude was just super unprofessional. He raised his voice, didn't listen to me and didn't wanna give me a few minutes to look for the pictures of the room that I booked.The next day he talked bad behind my gfs back. about her not wanting breakfast. She is vegan and there would have been only bread and jam. To her he was nice but to his gf he complained about her attitude. She did nothing but saying she would rather have breakfast outside.The beds in the first room were uncomfy. You can feel every single spring...Also the toilet in the room we had on the second day had a toilet seat that was too small and didn't stay up which is quite unpleasant.Bro, seriously work on your attitude.
