Villa Palem is a beautiful place in a fantastic camp. We have been to Bali many times, but we have never had a gem like this. The entire complex is huge, there are 5 different rooms or houses, a large pool including its own pool house with shower. The pool is in the sun all day, so you can enjoy the water really well given the temperature. In addition to the large pool, there is also a smaller children's pool. The view from the pool goes over the palm groves to the wide ocean and is truly unique. We spent a lot of time at the pool and in the adjacent pool house and still love it! The sunsets by the pool were simply gorgeous. There is also a private tennis court with lighting, a yoga place in the palm trees, a massage room, a large living room, a fantastic terrace and plenty of seating. The tennis court is also well equipped (lighting so you can play outside of the heat in the evenings, running water, seating). The living room has a huge selection of DVDs as well as cards and board games. So you won't get bored even after sunset. The furnishings of the villa are unique, everything is well thought out and in harmony with the Balinese surroundings. The decorations are particularly worth mentioning; they were lovingly selected and enrich all the rooms of this unique villa. The master bedroom has its own terrace and has a fantastic view over the entire complex. The bathrooms in each room are all designed differently, there are indoor and outdoor showers, bathtubs and and and...The staff is very nice and helpful. Randy (the villa manager) greeted us warmly and showed us around, you can tell he has experience in the hospitality business. The rest of the team (cooks, service, gardeners) were all very nice. The staff was initially overly cautious, but after the first private conversations the fear was gone and the ice was broken. We felt very comfortable with the entire team. The food was very tasty and prepared according to our wishes. There were no fixed menus, everything was prepared on request (breakfast, lunch, dinner). For example, we had an Indonesian breakfast, which was really delicious.A quick note about the location of the villa: the villa is approximately 2.5 hours (by car) from Denpasar Airport. For anyone looking for peace and relaxation, this villa is just the thing, as compared to Canggu, Seminyak or Ubud, for example, there are no direct neighbors and, above all, no constant construction noise. For those who want to avoid traffic: Fly Bali Heli offers a helicopter transfer from DPS Airport to the villa (Satria Mandala Soccerfield, approximately 20 minutes from the villa). The price is around IDR 52,000,000All in all, this villa is simply fantastic and we can highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bali. We will be back definitely!
