good location if you are exploring this region. great views across the valley. Room was your own sort of little curved roof house, we did struggle with mattress being low down simply put on the floor ie no bed base or elevation, had some creepy crawlies to swipe off the bed linen! (maybe the other cottage had a proper bed with base etc we don't know) only one chair out on the deck outside which was strange when there are mostly two adults sharing the house? Breakfast was very traditional, no choice except nasi goreng but must say it was nice. we were also not given a time option and it seemed that the host wanted to get breakfast done early morning ideally 7am which was too early for us so we pushed for 8am then he was done with cooking. no parking on site, we had a car but we could park accross the road from the place. a note, it's hard to find especially in the dark, no signs nothing, Gps takes you to a gravel area, then there is a very narrow gang walking only for guests.. down steps to the accommodation. What we did not agree with and have never seen in our 25 years of coming to Bali, is that we noticed the next morning, there was a CCTV type camera mounted on the concrete wall to right side of the two cottages, by the shared path leading down to them, pointed in a direction to cover the pathway but the angle could also see onto the first cottage deck where we stayed, did not approve of that. but the host speaks very little english so no point of getting into a discussion. He was a nice guy don't think it's anything malicious, but may be for night security, but hey, never seen that they usually have a staff night security guy keeping an eye on things.. and in general we feel safe in Bali.We see this place as an ok stay for overnight or maybe two days or so but no grounds or garden, no onsite cafe or restaurant etc, so more of a stop over place in our viewpoint. reasonable value for money.
