Not expensive room at all with magnificent views of the lake and the mountains. Excellent value for money! Delicious breakfast: papaya or watermelon juice, tea or coffee, eggs, toast, homemade strawberry jam...We also ate every evening in their restaurant. The mie goreng and nasi goreng were super good and served in large quantities.The owners are very welcoming!There are a few ants and insects in the room, but that's the game when you're out in nature. The vegetation around the room is magnificent.From the homestay, we walked up to Mont Catur: 5 or 6 hours round trip. Path in the middle of the jungle.We also took the taxi with them to reach Munduk at a very reasonable price.I recommend 100%.

Depending what type of person you are, you might enjoy this place or not! You need to be aware that this is in the middle of the jungle so expect insects, and when I say insects I mean a lot of them. The room is full of huge holes everywhere so mosquitos, flies, fireflies, grasshoppers, moths, spiders, worms, etc etc they have a easy time coming to your bedroom. The views are amazing and during the night we had a mosquito net which helped quite a lot but honestly the amount of insects I had to deal with was unbearable. The owner was really sweet, they have a restaurant but I didn't eat so I don't know how the food is. Oh yeah, and you have to climb 80 steps to get to your room so is not suitable for everyone

The accommodation is really clean, and it's in the middle of gardens. I got a room facing directly onto Bedugul Lake. It was really cold at night, luckily I still had a blanket, so it was warm enough. The bathroom is also wide and very clean. Thank you to the staff who gave me the best room..

I loved this place so much. You are in the middle of the jungle and it is so peaceful. The view from your cabin is stunning. You get an amazing breakfast. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I will come back again!

Love this place! It's easy to get by scooter and the view is amazing! So peaceful ❤️💠 The room was clean and well maintained. There is hot water in the shower and warm blankets with comfy pillows. The porch with a bench is the best place to listen to sounds of nature and just enjoy the moment.💠 The staff is super nice and friendly.💠 Breakfast was tasty and generous (you can choose rice/noodles, eggs option, potato/vegetables soup, juice, coffee/tea and toast with homemade strawberry jam).💠 I didn't use wifi a lot, so cannot say anything about the Internet.💠 The price is good and affordable.I'll definitely come back. And it's just 5 minutes from Bali Botanical Gardens - must visit!

Very quiet location with an amazing view of Lake Beratan. Many tourist attractions nearby but you need a scooter to get around. Breakfast is plentiful, there is a fridge, tea, coffee and free water refills. Strong WiFi and comfortable beds. It's in the jungle, so expect running into some animals :)

The hostel had a really nice view of the mountain and the lake in front of it. The room was very clean and there was a large selection for breakfast that definitely filled you up and it also tasted delicious. It really is the best value for money you can imagine.I would particularly like to highlight the service. I forgot my passport there the day before our flight and the owner took it an extra 2 hours from there to Uluwatu!

Amazing place - this was my view from bed at sunrise! And so close to the famous temple, you can go there when it opens at 7 to beat the crowds. Very close to the botanic gardens. Just make sure you don't have a huge dinner the night before -- breakfasts are quite an event!

Great place to escape the crowd of the touristic places! Amazing view from the cabin, great breakfast on site and lovely staff! Be aware of the 80 steep steps you have to take to reach the cabins, but Angus is so kind that will help you with all your luggages. His sister will take care of your breakfast, they can rent you a motorbike and help you with the laundry service. I’d definitely would come back! Thank you

We have loved the experience of sleeping and being in the middle of nature/jungle! The spectacular cabin in an incredible environment! Agus and the sister are super friendly, efficient and great people! Very good breakfast and they also had (good) motorcycles to rent! Thank you !

Amazing place, beautiful views from the rooms and kitchen area, well maintained garden, you can tell the owners really take care of the details. And the breakfast was just wow, so huge and tasty, with coffee from espresso machine! What's missing for me was the extra blanket as at night it gets pretty cold, but luckily brought my own 😉
