What a beautiful place! It was just fantastic here and the hosts are the best people in the world. You immediately feel like you are in a second home. Although I unfortunately had a bit of a cold, Shanti and Madi looked after me so lovingly that I felt completely comfortable. I already miss them both and can recommend the accommodation 100 percent. If you're looking for warmth and a place to feel good, you've come to the right place! ❤️ Shanti, Madi, Bruno ❤️

For lunch in the area, move away from the more touristy places overlooking the famous Jatilowih rice fields and immerse yourself in a pleasant break in this eco-lodge. Good food and family management. Surrounded by greenery.

We felt at home 13,000 km from home.My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights and three days in early September. The Guesthouse is located in the open countryside, surrounded by the rice fields that adorn the panorama. We rented a scooter at the facility, with which we visited the entire surrounding area. The rooms are made up of large houses, all with a breathtaking view of the rice fields. Cleanliness is more than decent, and the beds are equipped with protective mosquito nets. The two owners welcomed us and looked after us like children. We often ate there: delicious cuisine, it's like eating at mum's house. Almost all the food is prepared with ingredients from their garden, as are the infusions. We also tried the cooking class with Santi, it was a truly beautiful and authentic experience. The owners often stopped to chat with us, they were very warm and thoughtful, we found adoptive parents. They let me taste their artisanal Arak, which was delicious. From the Guesthouse there are paths that enter wonderful terraced rice fields, where you can go trekking or even just take a walk to enjoy this wonder; they also offer the possibility of taking self-guided tours. In short: recommended if you are looking for an authentic place to taste a piece of real Bali.

If you’re looking for a peaceful and quiet place, where you can be in nature while enjoying the rice terraces, then this is the place!Everything from beginning to end was excellent. Family owned ecolodge, welcomed us with herbal teas grown in their local land. Rooms were simple and comfortable, with great WiFi. Bathrooms were outdoors (private though) which is a fun way to take a shower and balcony’s overlooking rice terraces.Breakfast was included and really good, using local ingredients. Dinner was an additional charge, but recommended as they also used locally sourced or directly produced in their lands. Owners made sure to check in at dinner and tell us a little more about their ecolodge.Personally the best part was having all of the rice terraces on the property. We walked for a few hours and had amazing views everywhere. It almost felt like we didn’t have to go to Jatiluwih because everything was right there, even though we still went and also worth it!Because of the remote location, you will most likely have to rely on their transportation to get back to the main areas of Bali. It was a bit more expensive than a Grab, so something to keep in mind, but nothing outrageous either. They also drove us to Jatiluwih and back and have the option for tours if you want.P.S. all the pictures are from the ecolodge only. Not great quality since I didn’t add any filters

This is for sure THE BEST place in Bali. the location is amazing, right in the middle of nature with amazing views (sunrise over the rice fields is beautiful). The rooms are beautiful, clean, spacious and all of them have direct view to one of the rice fields. The food is amazing (the best we have tried so far in Bali). One can do different activities with the hosts like cooking together and hiking through rice fields and the forest. We had everything we could wish for and they helped us in every possible way. The best part is the BEAUTIFUL people. Me and my wife felt as part of the family (and we miss you already). We also liked the fact that they really honor the name "Ecolodge". They are truly committed to help the environment through different ways (including education). We originally booked 2 nights, but decided to extend our stay 3 more nights because this is what we were looking for when we decided to visit Bali. We definitely recommend it and can't wait to come back!
