Exceptional if, like me, you like to immerse yourself in Balinese culture. The host, Wayan, is just a wonderful woman who will do everything to satisfy you: laundry, scooter rental, transfers, expert advice, excursions to organize, meals to order, massages, weaving lessons, making offerings, etc. family is adorable. Present for Galungan, it’s magical!

Superb stay at Wayan's, in the magnificent village of Sidemen. We really enjoyed talking with Wayan about our respective cultures and had a great time with her during an offering preparation workshop. The food is delicious, the rooms are clean and the place is very peaceful. Thank you Wayan ☺️

My friend and I stayed for a couple of nights here and cannot recommend it highly enough. Wayan is such a lovely, welcoming person. The room is clean and very comfortable. There is no air con but there is a fan that cooled the room enough to sleep well. There is a mosquito net around the bed but we didn’t need it, as long as the bathroom and front doors were closed at night there were no mosquitos. The extra activities we arranged through Wayan like taking a tour of the rice fields and weaving were excellent. Weaving was particularly special as Wayan taught it herself on her own loom. If you order any food for lunch or dinner from Wayan you are in for a treat. The spring rolls and urab were the best we’ve had it Bali.

Wayan is incredibly kind and caring towards his hosts. The services she offers (cooking classes, preparation of offerings) are authentic and Wayan is keen to share her culture. We were able to share wonderful moments of life in pure Balinese traditions thanks to her. She is also attentive and adapts to your needs. The breakfasts and meals are very affordable, excellent and generous. It is also possible to rent a scooter on site. And the guesthouse is located near the centers of interest of Sidemen.
