A good place to spend a couple of days.The room is very spacious, well-kept and clean. The bathroom, super nice and partially open.The views from our room were super beautiful of rice fields.The only problem is that the staff barely speaks English and is complicated (except for one employee who we met the next day), but outside the hotel there are many guide, driver, laundry services...A nice, well-kept place and at a very good price when we have been (€75 per night)

Discover Nirarta center for living awareness. You will discover an amazing team. Everything is perfect. The rooms are incredible. The restaurant offers delicious and varied dishes. Everything is decorated with great taste. Magnificent statues and carvings are arranged with great taste. The place is fantastic with a breathtaking view. Thanks to Peter and his Wife Dayu. We were able to participate in a purification ceremony in the Sidemen creel with a healer. Magic. I also received sublime massages on site. And for my part, what I preferred the most was the sensitivity and personality of Peter Wrikza, the founder. I had the chance to follow a 4-day teaching with him and also to follow his meditations open to all. In the morning at 7:30 a.m. and in the evening at 5:30 p.m. Peter is trilingual. He has a PHD on states of consciousness linked to literature. It is a source of knowledge and benevolence. A very sweet and cheerful person too.

The Nirarta Center for Living Awareness leaves us with a mixed impression: anyone who is interested in peace, meditation and yoga will definitely get their money's worth here. The complex is cozy and quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is delicious and offers a great view.However: the rooms are not air conditioned and the bathroom was open (nice to look at, but inconvenient). Clothes and towels therefore hardly dried. Unfortunately there are only curtains and no fly screens, which means you can only leave the windows open to a limited extent at night. It is often very humid and warm in the room. In the morning we found mouse droppings in the bathroom, which is of course due to the open band concept, but from a hygienic point of view it should be a no-go.The breakfast a la carte was a bit small depending on what you ordered.Definitely a great hotel for yoga and mediation enthusiasts, but for more regular tourists we would recommend something else.

The rooms and grounds look very nice. Staff is very polite and helpful. English communication was sometimes a bit difficult :-)Unfortunately we couldn't cope with our shower in the room. The positioning of the shower and the water pressure are unfavorable. It was also very difficult to adjust the temperature (gas water heating). Either the water was very hot or cold, as the gas water heater goes out in the middle position 🤷♂️The towels, towels and mosquito nets are also covered in stains and don't look very inviting.What bothered us most, however, was that during the on-site massage (which was very good and relaxing) the paint on the lounger apparently wasn't changed (looks very stained and moldy?) and was simply replaced again after a Bali massage with lots of oil be pulled smoothly for the next customer. The massage location also seems rather makeshift - clothes are left on the floor and no place to wash hands.So a mixed impression - nice rooms and facilities, friendly staff but certainly room for improvement in the points mentioned above.

We got a great room at a good price. The location is very nice and peaceful and close to some warungs and nice restaurants. Sidemen is very underrated and a good spot if you want tranquility and Nirarta is at the heart of it.

Everything there exceeded our expectations. Our bungalow with a direct view of the rice fields. You could hear the river from the restaurant. There are also bungalows down by the river, I don't know if they are rented out. Meditation was also offered. We extended immediately when we arrived. I hope I come there again.

I stayed at Nirarta Retreat for the whole month of November 2022. Special place, through and through...I found Peter's (the owner of the retreat) way of meditating incredibly simple and powerful at the same time. They teach it twice a day - morning and late afternoon. I am also very grateful that the staff come to meditate as well. Finally, I see the yogic principles of equanimity in practice!I enjoyed going for daily dips in the river Unda...It was like a daily cleanse for me; I saw beautiful colorful birds and so many butterflies! It was easy to think I was in paradise...I found Sidemen to be a perfect combination of weather in November. It was ~33% of rain, ~33% of sun, and ~33% of clouds. Not hot, not cold, not humid. Just perfect.Accomodation was comfortable and specious. Bali is still recovering from "Covid no tourism policy" and at Nirarta they too, were doing some small renovations. The retreat property is HUGE and there is a lot of work that needs to be done on a daily basis. But they were managing to keep things clean, functional, and comfortable for their guests.I LOVED my food...There are not that many places in Bali that know how to cook oatmeal or even have it on their menu! Nirarta does and it's really good :)The view from the restaurant is breathtaking...it was healing for my downtown-big-city-heart to see it every day. I felt more spacious every day as I absorbed the beauty of the landscape.I highly recommend this retreat for a short or long term stay. You will feel the purity and potency of the energy of Nirarta as soon as you enter.Enjoy!!!

Nirarta is heaven on earth. We stayed there for about a week and it was absolutely lovely. The environment is very calm so for us it was the perfect place to get some rest while making day trips by motorcycle around the Sidemen area. The rooms are very spacious, clean, beautiful, and each have an amazing view. The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious ánd healthy. The owners are very helpful and friendly as well. I also enjoyed the free meditation in the mornings, guided by the owner Peter. We enjoyed our stay here so much and will definitely be back!

This is the best we have found in Bali it is the Nirarta Center for living, a place of such good spirit, peace, and relaxation. We have never found a quiet, beautiful and sweet place like this, very beautiful views, fresh and quality food, wonderful yoga in the morning and evening activities, thanks to Peter for a wonderful oasis !!!

Awesome and peaceful experience. Surroundings are filled with lush greenery and peaceful mountains . Room quality is good and service for food is nice
