Unbeatable homestay price-quality ratio. Everything is great, treatment, facilities and location, but the best without a doubt the views from both terraces of the Agung volcano, palm groves and rice fields😍😍 spectacular!!

I highly recommend! An ideal place for budget travelers, friendly service, good location and view from the rooms. The owners can easily arrange transport, laundry, trips around the island or rental of a scooter and snorkeling equipment.

Great 4 night stay at Mesari Homestay. We took the opportunity to dive in Tulamben, visit the rice fields in the area and snorkel along the beaches of Amed. The family is super welcoming and helpful, they help you at all times with anything you need. The room is good and has spectacular views.

Great place. The rooms are simple, the breakfast is small and tasty. The view from the balcony is simply amazing. The hosts are friendly. We went for 1 night, in the end we wanted to extend it for another 1, but unfortunately there were no places. I regretted that I didn’t immediately take 3 nights. Of the minuses, there is a road nearby, for some this could be a problem.The price for such a room with breakfast is simply ridiculous. In a word, fire 🔥🔥

The room was on the first floor. The room is very dark, if you open the curtains, the workers from the fields can see everything that happens in the room. A large number of ants and flies. The towels smell bad and are gray in color. No soap, shower gel or shampoo, please be aware. There is black mold on the walls in the bathroom. There is hot water, but first you have to wait about five minutes for it, then it runs for two minutes and runs out. The location is right next to the road, I listened to passing bikes all night. Breakfast is very poor, an adult cannot get enough to eat. Breakfast is served in a warung on the same road; you won't be able to eat it with a view of the mountains. Walk to the sea along a busy road. I really regretted staying here, for the same price there are options on the coast

This is the most soulful place in Amed. I came here for a couple of days and have been living here for a month. Friendly family, the feeling that you came not to visit, but to your grandmother’s home, maximum care.View of incredible mountains, fabulously beautiful. There's a good restaurant right across the street that can prepare food for you whenever you want, no delivery required. I recommend booking without hesitation.

I think the other reviews sum it up: it IS a great value place to stay in Amed, the rooms are spacious, and the family is lovely. However, for me the cons outweighed the pros: the road noise (it’s not a highway, but it in the main route to town) and noise from the room above; the mosquitoes (you’re right next to the rice paddy) ; and the tatty and poorly maintained room. Peeling paint, water stains, sticking door, dirty sink and shower head, and cobwebs. This a hospitality 101 stuff and just need a little maintenance - such a shame. PS: I was downstairs and I suspect the upstairs rooms could be better.

Comfortable accommodation with a wonderful family at a reasonable price. I have never found such a view from the balcony; it is a great pleasure to have breakfast here (a light breakfast is included in the price of your stay). There is also a cafe here, you can order homemade food - everything will be prepared with soul. The room has all the necessary furniture, a floor + ceiling fan. The balcony has two chairs and a table - an ideal place to admire the stars at night. There were also several books in different languages in the room, a nice bonus. It’s so warm and comfortable here that I didn’t want to leave at all. From the first day I couldn’t leave the feeling that I was visiting loved ones - thank you for your concern!I’ll also say about the disadvantages, which may be important for many: weak water pressure in the shower, uncomfortable pillows (the padding polyester is out of shape and the pillow doesn’t hold its shape).

Great homestay for solo or couples travelling. I ended up staying more than a month. The view is breathtaking from evey room. The lower rooms have good AC also. The breakfast is great with multiple options to choose from and fresh fruits in addition. The homestay is also a warung, so at any time you can ask for a good meal from the menu (best tuna salad I ever had). But... the real value of staying here comes from the hospitality of the family owning it. I couldn't write down the many ways they have helped me during my stay even if I wanted, there were just so so many. If you have any issue or request I'd say go to them first. This is no ordinary budget homestay, they will not hesitate to help you out!I cannot thank you enough, Kadek & Ketut & the kids! Om shanti shanti shanti om. Wish to see you again soon!

We booked for a month because of the good reviews and the view as well as the proximity to the beach and then didn't even stay one night. We had one of the lower rooms and felt very locked in and uncomfortable as soon as we entered. It's dark, unfortunately not clean at all, there were a lot of butterflies and the bed smelled bad. There is mold on the walls in the bathroom and it's just unpleasant. Our departure was received with a lot of understanding, so we had the feeling that the operator was well aware of the situation.By the way, the view is really a dream, but unfortunately that didn't convince us to stay even one night.
