Currently staying at Sandag hill and love it so much i had to write my review already! Certainly one of the highlights of our trip.Atmosphere: beautiful villa / well thought through in terms of amenities / stunning viewsService: excellent service! Villa looked immaculate / they bring breakfast to your villa & dinner and drinks can be ordered and brought too. Recommended some nice places to visit and arranged a scooter to rent very quickly.Location: absolutely stunning. Best views in Sidemen. Love the last bit of walking to get to the villa. Really feels off the beaten track.

A real piece of paradise ! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for peace and quiet! It was really a pleasure to stay there, the owners take great care... nothing to say except: Go there!

We were in awe of the bamboo house and the view we got upon arrival. Very healing and a good place to be disconnected. Gede was very helpful with our luggage as well as our requests. Massage down the slope at a nearby loft villa resort was also great. The entry into the bamboo houses may not be the easiest but unless you have elderly or young kids, pls dont let this deter you from choosing this place. This place offers a unique experience that you can't experience in the resorts or hotels within city/downtown area. Overall, very pleased and can't wait to visit again!

WowWhat luck it was finding this place, an absolute heaven on earth is an understatement! I literally cried happy tears when I got into the bed and was faced with my view, absolutely gorgeous. Honeymoon destination for sure! This place is surrounded by rice fields, is so quiet and peaceful, nestled in nature, pure tranquility. A mini waterfall runs down the hill next to our outdoor bamboo shower, and there’s even a view from the toilet! Lush green grass and plants everywhere, I’ve never been so grounded in my life, you’ll feel super connected to the earth here, you see it everywhere you look.The service here is incredible and we were waited on hand and foot, the warm and welcoming staff couldn’t be more helpful and brought our meals each day, which were all fresh and delicious.Everything about this place exudes luxury, every fine detail is accounted for, it’s absolutely spotless. I was worried it would be a haven for bugs and mosquitos, but honestly that was not a problem at all. And the bed has a lovely linen drape that protects you from the elements whilst you sleep. The downstairs is a lovely temperature and very breezy, with the wind keeping you cool whilst the sun beats down on the lush rice fields. The upstairs has a fan which works wonders and I did not feel too hot ever, which I was so happy about as normally always book a place with AC. I cannot fault this place, it has a beautiful feminine touch with little flowers left everywhere, soft fluffy towels, beautiful smelling soap, drinkable water in every room and a wonderfully equipped kitchen that allowed for unlimited hot milk teas and a safe place to keep our leftovers fresh. There is a sofa that can turn into a day bed, and a comfortable hammock which I napped in frequently. There is a cctv camera facing the door ensuring protection, a safety box for your precious items to be locked away, board games, books and a ukelele to keep you occupied whilst disconnecting from the rest of the world, with high speed and reliable Wi-Fi that allows you to drop in at the touch of a button. My boyfriend works online and had no issues whatsoever working 8 hours straight on his laptop. They do motorbike rental making it too easy to explore this incredible part of Bali, with waterfalls nearby! This place really has it all! I want to move in and stay here the rest of my life. I’m obsessed. If you’re coming to Sidemen and find this property available, do not miss the opportunity to experience a literal paradise… you will not regret it.

Special, magical and unique would be the words to describe this place. I would highlight the concept of this accommodation, the autonomy and familiarity, the immersion in nature and the hospitality and kindness of its owner, always flexible, open and with an attitude of making your life easier. Without a doubt, it will be difficult to find anything like it. Very grateful and I recommend this accommodation 100% if you want to live a different and paradisiacal experience!!!

Sadang Hill is a wonderful place in Bali. Absolutely unique.

The view is just AMAZING! The villa is located in the middle of rice fields, so you wake up with an impressive view, surrounded by nature and local farmers (very friendly and nice). It's definitely a great experience. The hosts are very nice and friendly and they took care of offering a nice experience for us.

Our stay at Sandag Hill was one of the highlights of our Bali trip. Gede, the owner, built the bamboo houses together with his family and is a wonderful host. The villa is fully equipped and yet you are in the middle of nature. The view of the rice fields and the sunrise from the villa is fantastic. We regretted afterwards that we had not booked more nights. Our stay felt like a mini retreat, highly recommended!
