The hotel is clean, the rooms are large, swimming pool facing the sea, warm welcome, breakfasts facing the sea are plentiful with plenty of choice. The owners helped us rent a scooter, taxi, it's nice to talk with them. We highly recommend for a great experience near the center of Amed (shop, view point)Quiet and relaxing place to the rhythm of the waves

Very good location, however the price has doubled over the past year. The price was 450,000idr last September. For what...Is it due to the new clientele arriving in Amed because of the influencers who only talk about the Jemeluk view point...Amed would have become the new destination of the Instagram generation, too bad.

We had a great stay at Ganesha Amed. Incredible view from the room over the sea, beautiful swimming pool and very large balcony. We go from the sea to the swimming pool in a few seconds. Amazing sunrise and sunset. In the center of Amed and close to restaurants.Very clean, impeccable bathroom.Attentive staff who are receptive to requests. We even had a very early breakfast because we had to leave around 7am.3% fee when paying by credit card, prefer an establishment that includes this fee. Questionable practice. Average lunch. Average value for money.

Superb. Loved my 10 day stay here in room 1, facing the sea. Snorkelling straight out front of my room was amazing. Swam with big sea turtles everyday on the coral reef. Room was very clean, spacious, and bed was comfy. Gede and the staff were incredibly helpful. Was some construction work going on at the roadside of the property but wasn't noisy and had no impact on my stay there. Very central location. Their restuarant, Celagi Warung, a short 3 minute walk away, served delicious food. Best fried chicken wings in Amed.

I visited this hotel a month and a half ago after exploring half of Amed and reserved two sea-view rooms by leaving a deposit with the manager, Eri, for mid-August. Since I had special guests visiting from Italy, I wanted to secure something nice on the beach. The day before our arrival, I sent a message to remind them of our upcoming stay (in Bali, the level of organization in these establishments is often poor, so it’s wise to double-check multiple times). The manager acted surprised and said the hotel was fully booked and that he would refund my deposit. Mid-August is high season, and finding two rooms in the same property is really challenging, causing a lot of stress and ruining part of our vacation. I hate writing negative reviews, but this is truly unacceptable.

The setting of this establishment is lovely although at the moment and due to a construction site, the steep path to the location is precarious as it is tiled with much sand on it making it slippery. The room we were allocated was big and appeared clean but on closer inspection it was not. The top of the cupboard was very dusty, we found black hair on the sheets and a very dirty toilet that was, on reporting very quickly cleaned by the manager/owner. The bathroom has a huge open window that could easily give access to someone wanting to enter the room not to mention mosquitoes. The mattress was simply awful, a very hard spring mattress where the springs were very superficial and made for very uncomfortable sleeping. There was no topper or mattress protector, only a very thin sheet. We partially resolved this by sleeping on top of the duvet and using the top sheet only. The other issue we had was that the curtains on the construction/street side covered only the lower half of the window so this morning the workers who were on the roof of the construction could easily see into our bedroom. There is a fridge snd kettle on the balcony but no complimentary water nor any tea or coffee. The breakfast was very good and the staff very pleasant. The eye for detail is SO important. Good housekeeping is essential and one should not have the feeling or evidence that someone has stayed before you.I wished to talk to the owner this morning but at the time he was not available.
