Chida Homestay

I stayed at the Chida Homestay for 3 weeks with my 2 kids. We all loved it there. Chida and Rai were great hosts and very welcoming and heartwarming people. After returning from a weekend trip to the homestay, they surprised us with some very delicious dinner. The rooms are very clean and the bathrooms are really nice. You can also sit in the very green and beautiful garden. We also had an outdoor kitchen. The location is wonderful, as you can escape from the crowds of Ubud, but still be there within 20 -30 minutes with the motor bike. We really enjoyed the rides with the bikes :) I can only recommend to stay at this wonderful place and when returning to Bali, we definitely would stay at Chida homestay again :) Thank you for this amazing time and everything you did!!!

I have no words to express the love I have for Chida homestay. Rai and Jero are the nicest, most genuine people you could meet and I am so grateful to have stayed here for 2 months. To say they went above and beyond is an understatement. They cared for us when we were sick, helped out with our children and treated us to local delicacies when they went to the market. The rooms were spotless, the location was fantastic and we also loved the bike we rented from them. Now, they are family and I can not wait to go back and visit them. I really cannot thank them enough for everything they did for my family and I. They made our stay in Bali truly unforgettable 🙏❤️

If you want to live an authentic Balinese experience, in which you can learn about their customs, discover their culture, share unique experiences that you will not find in any hotel or villa, Chida HomeStay is your place.A place surrounded by nature, calm and rice fields, where there are no roosters or ducks to make noise or wake you up or bother you and it is 10 minutes from the center of Ubud.The family welcomes you with great affection and respects your space, as well as being attentive to everything you may need, just as if you need help with something or ask them for advice on what to do, they are the first to help you in everything they can and further.Ideal for both short and long stays. I stayed for 20 days and I stayed for 3 months, now I am returning to Bali again and without hesitation, I am staying with them again. They also have motorcycles to rent, so you have all the comforts in the same place, without having to travel.The area is super quiet, a 5-minute walk away you have a spa where you can give yourself relaxing massages, around you have many waterfalls to visit, local restaurants, as well as resorts and other special places to discover.Rai, Jero and Chida are a charming family, meeting and discovering them will not leave you indifferent during your time in Bali.

My family of four stayed at Chida Homestay for two months. We all loved it and did not want to leave. The hosts are a wonderful family who loved our kids, surprised us with local Balinese treats, informed us about the best places to visit, and were always helpful in any way.The homestay is very well located, far enough from Ubud Centre to avoid the crowds and close enough to have all necessary facilities.The rooms were clean and in excellent condition, as the homestay is quite new and well looked after.The hosts are very professional and love what they are doing. I am so grateful that we got to experience it. Thank you!

Mr and Mrs Rai has been the loveliest, most helpful host ever. The place isnt so big since it only consists of 2 rooms, but very well managed, not only the cleanliness, but also the well-aligned scenery and surroundings that made this homestay felt welcome and serene. Long stay is very very recommended, you can just chill while having your afternoon tea on the yard, or just rent a bike (which they also offer) to go around Kemenuh and Gianyar for their infamous waterfalls. Such an amazing stay. Most definitely five stars experience.

My partner had come to Bali in September and found Chida Homestay through a friend of her family. In this connection, she was blessed to find this Villa outside of Ubud, but still relatively close to the main city. She stayed for a month before I made my way to Bali and we stayed here for a month together. From her experience, it has been so welcoming and pleasant. So I was excited, especially since I’ve never been to Bali and I needed some ease into the experience.Rai, Jeru, and Chida; welcomed us like family. Everyday they made a great effort to connect with us and make sure we got exactly what we needed. There were times I felt kind of frozen and stuck in my own adaption to this new environment and Rai offered to take me to local waterfalls and spend time with his family and his friends.The kindness this family and the local Balinese families, showed me the huge heart of Asia in this beautiful country and I am so thankful for this family.I highly recommend booking with Rai and Jeru, the rooms are perfect for couples and singles. Very clean, great AC, beautiful bathrooms, gorgeous patio, and privacy for those who are nomadic and hermits. A simple and efficient kitchen space, with clean drinking water, coffee, and teas.The Chida family also has a scooter rental inside the Homestay, so if you need transportation, you can rent a scooter for your daily adventures and/or Rai had been so kind to take me places I needed to be, to save me money on Grab/Gojecks.I am so warmed and grateful for this experience and I definitely recommend 10/10. I look forward to future Bali trips where I can make plans to come back to stay with them.
