Very spacious rooms even if you are alone. The tour I did with them was amazing. My guide was able to find any animal and doesn't give up until you see them all. Plus, he can take amazing photos of you with your phone via his viewing tool. Top experience!

We had a lovely stay at Mama Roos. The rooms are spacious and clean, with AC too. We’re vegetarian so they kindly adjusted meals for us, the portions were perfect and it was all very tasty! Great value for money! The tours were fantastic, the telescope made the experience so much better, we loved watching the animals up close! Highly recommend.

I had two wonderful nights here. The owners are very friendly and offer good service. The Nasi Goreng for 30k was very good.One evening we were even invited to dinner for an internal celebration.I would especially like to highlight the guide fan (Mr. Telescope) who belongs to the homestay. I went on a tour with him and two others three times, two of them in the morning.He was able to spot many animals and especially birds with his eagle eyes. He supported this with great equipment: telescope, binoculars, good flashlight!, attachment for the telescope so that you can take pictures with your cell phone, pointer. The tour was not only fun, but also a real experience.When taking the pictures with his cell phone, he always supported us and was able to take incredibly good pictures himself.It was a pleasure to have been a guest in this homestay!Side fact:Entrance to the national park costs 100,000Rp/day. Sundays 150,000Rp.

Very friendly operator. I arrived late after falling on the scooter. They treated me and organized a journey for me and my scooter to Manado because I could no longer drive myself due to my injuries. The breakfast is good. Lunch and dinner are very good and offered at affordable prices. The property is located right at the entrance to Tangkoko Reserve. A tour with a guide costs IDR 250,000 plus IDR 100,000 entry to the reserve. This also seems to be the usual local price. All the animals were actually found and binoculars were provided to observe the animals.

Great price-value-ratio and great service.We stayed two nights.Room is pretty big with 2 good beds and good matresses and good AC. Bathroom is a little bit old but has everything you need. The nights were pretty quiet.The restaurant cooks good food. Nasi goreng and Gado Gado 30k IDR each.For breakfast you get 2pancakes with honey and a banana.Free coffee, tea, water all the time.We did two tours with the owner named Fun. He doesn't talk much but he answers all the questions and he is damn good at finding everything you want to see. Even the other guides started following us and using our guide's telescope to show their customers the cool animals. Fun told us the morning tour will be from 6am to 10am but he went into hunting mode and we came back at 12:30 after we really found everything.Evening Tour is from 5pm to 7pm.We had a great time. Everybody there is very nice and tries to make your stay perfect. When we couldn't get a Grab to Bitung Fun waited on the street stopping cars and asking if they can take us until we found one.Also the village is cute, beautiful beach and also good for snorkeling when there is not too much wind.
