Novita is a homestey with a very good location, in the center of the village and a few meters from the beach. It is a wonderful place to learn about the culture of the locals and part of their gastronomy.It is run by Novita and her family, an endearing woman, very friendly and attentive.Accommodation includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.The stay has been great, without a doubt highly recommended!Terima kasih 🙏💜

Novita is a good friend, we went fishing and snorkeling together! She lets us use her fridge even though we're not staying there.Naca, whose house we stay at, is related to her, so we often had the chance to spend time together. We sometimes go to watch the sunset together. Novita and Naca are like family. Thank you, Novita.

Good food and fruit for breakfast. My room was very small but had at least a window and a fan that worked all night. Good wifi. Unfortunately at mid-Nov because of dry season, the water from the tap and for the shower was salty. Good English spoken.

Novitas Homestay is a simple accommodation. You have your room to sleep and store your luggage, otherwise the homestay is a place to go for excellent cuisine and fresh fruit juices.Novita and her family are very helpful and follow up on all concerns. Tips for excursions, transport, whatever is necessary, she finds a way.A very lovely host including the entire family.The food was delicious and always more than enough. Keep it up!

Very nice, taken care of, place. Novita is a very friendly lady (speaks English) who can arrange snorkeling and dolphintrips. Good food and fresh juices. Highly recommended!

Staying with Novita and her family means experiencing a real homestay.Novita lives in the family home with her daughters, her husband, her in-laws and Bubu and Djibi her 2 dogs.Novita is very present for its guests and perfectly embodies the spirit of the homestay.She happily spends time chatting with guests, giving them information and even accompanying them to village events such as the weekly bamboo instrument concert.We really appreciated the spirit of sharing reigning there with both family and guests.The food is very good and served in good quantities. The dishes are varied, real family cooking. If you ask her, Novita will happily show you how she makes her recipes!The rooms are very basic, the whole house a bit dark but everything is clean. The rooms are equipped with a fan which can sometimes prove insufficient when temperatures rise sharply in Bunaken.The large terrace which serves as a common space is very pleasant.The location is ideal in the center of the village and 20m from the beach.Possibility to rent mask and snorkel on site, tired equipment to say the least and which deserves to be renewed.The price is 30k for mask and snorkel to which must be added 30k for fins (essential for seeing the current). I would have liked to have been told directly about the additional cost of renting fins rather than finding out about it at check-out.We asked twice if we could do laundry which was not possible given the price of electricity. What I didn't understand, however, was why other guests were able to wash their laundry at the same time 😆.In summary, a good address for a real homestay, good and varied family cuisine and a great location in the heart of the village.
