IF YOU DON'T WANT TO RUIN YOUR STAY AT GILI AIR, RUN AWAY!!LOOK FOR OTHER OPTIONS. DO IT FOR YOU, AND FOR YOURS.AT 4:30 IN THE MORNING THE ALARM SOUNDS, THE MOSQUE WITH ITS PRAYERS.AND IF YOU HAVE NOT WOKE UP, IT WILL SOUND AGAIN AS A REMINDER AT 5:00.THE ROOMS LOOK LIKE A PRISON. VERY DIRTY. WITH COB WEBS, DIRTY SHEETS, HUMIDITY, BAD SMELLS, COLD WATER, THEY DO NOT LEAVE TOILET PAPER, THEY DO NOT LEAVE EITHER GEL, OR SHAMPOO...IF YOU GO YOU ARE A MASOCA.PLEASE RUN AWAY.ALL OF US WHO POST REVIEWS, WRITE AWAY.HASHTAG: #HUNE

During my stay at a destitute accommodation, I encountered extremely unprofessional and discourteous staff who were unhelpful when faced with an issue caused by their own oversight. When we decided to extend our stay for just one more night in the same room to avoid repacking, they either threatened to evict us or insisted we move to a different room that bore no resemblance to the photos on our booking. Adding to the discomfort was the proximity of a mosque with blaring speakers that ensured an unwelcome 4 a.m. wake-up call for all guests. The overall experience was marred by the staff's lack of professionalism and disregard for customer service, leaving a lasting impression of dissatisfaction and frustration.

If you are looking for accommodation on Gili Air for a family on a budget, maybe Pineapple Guest House could be the right choice. I tried to book just 1 room for a family of 2 adults and 2 toodlers and that was enough for one room.The room is clean and comfortable. The bathroom is okay too.The impression I felt was like I was visiting a relative's house. Not all kinds but comfortable π₯°ππThe position is close to the kiosk and there is a fruit shop as well as a place to eat.I didn't have time to take photos, the photos in the hotel booking application are enough to describe the condition of this accommodation. Thank you.

Room room!The sheets are disgusting and are not changed after use. The towels are stained with brown streaks.Honestly, it's disappointing...

I'm not sure what happened with the previous reviews, but we had a great stay here.We were in room 5, and it was exactly like the pictures on booking.The bed is big and comfortable, the toilet has a lot of space and the shower (cold, no hot water) had the right water pressure.They provide towels.A/C and wifi work perfectly.The mosque is very close, true, but honestly, it was not a problem for us as we slept like babies anyway.Amza is an amazing host and a very sweet person.The food at the restaurant is cheap and delicious.Location is perfect as it is close to the harbour and very central.There's a place next door that rents bicycles for just 35k (compared to others that do 50k)We loved it

The owners were lovely, very friendly, helpful and welcoming. However the room did not look anything like photos. Bed just one white sheet and that was it. No luxury feel about it as in photos. Towels thin and had seen better days. Paintwork around door frames/windows etc. dirty and stained. Needed a good wash or repainted. Same with paintwork on walls by floor which was flaking. Taps needed clean and polish and frame around bathroom mirror.. Spider webs on walls in bedroom. Only one wall socket with adapter far side of room. Could not have device charging and sit outside using it. No bedside lamp. Ear plugs definitely needed, as next door to a mosque. Chanting on and off throughout the day and at 4.30 am each morning. However on my last night the loud amplified chanting started early evening and never stopped. It went on in a very repetitive, extremely loud drone all through the night until about 5am. Even louder if opening bathroom door. I never managed any sleep at all. The noise from mosque the main reason I would not return. The Pineapple Warung served very good food and can be recommended. Menu left in room would have been helpful, especially a breakfast one, as not included in room rate. Owners were great though, just need a bit more attention to detail.
