Villa Marina

We stayed for 1 night and really enjoyed our stay! I would definitely recommend this Villa for anyone who stayed on Gili Air. The call to prayer is loud but it's part of the culture of the island so you really need to just accept that this will be heard anywhere on the island.

On my trip to Bali, Nusa Penida and Gili Islands, I stayed in different hotels. This was the most expensive of all, the treat of the trip, and it turned out to be the worst by far. I stayed in €20 a night hotels, which were infinitely better than these “luxury” villas.The first thing to highlight is that I had a fixed price with Booking of €360 for 3 nights (not bad for being in Indonesia), and upon arrival I found that they charged me other charges, which they did not even know how to explain to me what they were, another 20 €.The villa in the photo looks very nice, and the pool is in good condition, right. But in terms of services, it is disastrous. The air conditioning DOES NOT WORK. It makes an incredible noise, and it doesn't cool the room. They tell you that you have to close the curtains and be in the dark so that it cools down (a lie). There is no hot water in the shower. A jet comes out in which it is practically impossible to shower. The bed is made of springs, thin as a sheet. And to top it all off, we found a cockroach in the bathroom. I repeat, this did not happen to me even in the €20 per night hotels. It is incredibly expensive for the services it offers. Paying that amount to simply have a pool (which you're not even going to use, you'll see, because you'll be on the beach watching turtles all day) seems crazy to me.And now comes the best of all. TORTURE. They have been the worst 3 nights of our lives. It has a mosque next door, which practically all day, but ESPECIALLY AT 4:30 in the morning, is dedicated to reciting the entire Koran and calling people toPray. It starts at 04:30 and ends until 05:00. There everyone who decides to stay, but know that YOU ARE NOT GOING TO SLEEP during that half hour. No matter how much deep sleep you have, it is impossible not to wake up. It literally feels like you're inside a nightclub. It is unbearable torture. Furthermore, it is clear that they do it to the annoyance of the tourist. I know that this is not the Villa's fault, but being so close, in terms of location it is a 0. More than a whim, it has turned out to be an unbearable torture. If you value your health, do not stay in this villa.To finish, the breakfasts were not abundant and not very varied. I repeat, in the €20 a night hotels, there were more and better breakfasts.

Beautiful villa, with a great pool. Centrally located. The owners are very nice. The breakfast was also very tasty. We recommend the private snorkeling trip offered by the owner! You're alone on a boat and taken to the most beautiful places to snorkel and see some turtles.

Simply exceptional place, we spent 4 nights there in a 1 bedroom villa with private pool, we were in paradise.The room and the bathroom were very comfortable, with air conditioning and a fan, and the swimming pool is magnificent, it invites you to relax and the terrace is also equipped with a beanbag, 2 deck chairs and a sofa .The only downside is the breakfast, which is not up to par with the rest of the services.Besides this detail, everything is there to have a dream stay!

We have spent 3 days there and they have been wonderful. The hotel has all the details. Breakfast in the room every morning and private pool.

A 10-minute walk from the arrival and departure of the boats, these individual villas with private swimming pools are superb. The interior and exterior villa is very clean, with just enough vegetation to make it look pretty. Located in the middle of the island, you just have to choose which direction to go and you will be there quickly.The welcome is very good, the breakfast also brief, nothing to say, everything is done to have a good time.We even extended it by one night because we felt so good.
