When we arrived at the reception it was closed and we contacted them via WhatsApp because there was a little card with their phone number. It took 2 minutes to arrive! Very attentive.The clean room, with a huge bed, air conditioning, hairdryer, beach towels, a giant water dispenser and cold water in the refrigerator for free, for me a great detail!They had their beach club a 10-minute walk away, which is where they served breakfast, lunch and dinner or you could relax in their hammocks on the beach.

The accommodation is very well located, but when we arrived the receptionist was not there so we had to wait 15 minutes in front of the reception. There were some difficulties during check-in due to the language barrier. The hotel has a nice pool and the room facilities are really excellent.I also liked that Scallywag had multiple locations. In addition, the toilet flusher in room 4 was broken, so the water kept flowing and made it difficult to sleep at night. Furthermore, the bathroom was open at the top and had an insect screen so that fresh air could always come in, but unfortunately you could also hear the neighbors and residents in the area and every time I was afraid that someone would climb up and get us Showers, as you can easily climb up on the other side.⚠️The worst internet on all of Gili Air – actually unacceptable for a 4-star hotel.⚠️

Great experience I highly recommend this hotel.The room is large, clean, the bed is incredibly large and the pillows are perfect.The air conditioning works very well, there is a fridge and a water dispenser in the room.The bathroom has towels, bathrobes, hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.Located near the port and other restaurants or beaches. No noise, we hear very little from the mosque.The breakfast has a wide choice for all tastes.I recommend this hotel we had a very good stay there.Little extra for the very pleasant swimming pool

Our go to place over the past few years.Great value and good clean rooms. Saying that, cups and kettle could have been a bit cleaner. Also the water dispenser was empty but a great idea.Bed was very comfy. Loved the privacy our room had in the smugglers section.There are a few different scallywag locations dotted around the Island so google where you book. Drying clothes was a problem as we were in the shade but appreciated the provided drying rack.Good shower and air con.Wifi is sketchy but we expected that.Great that you get free sunbed use on the beach. Good breakfast selection. 10/15min walk to beach area and breakfast. 10 mins easy walk to the Harbour area.Great staff.Fairly quiet but you may hear prayers early in the a.m.We would come back again for the same price we paid.🙏

BED BUGS!!!After three days I looked like I had chicken pox! I was bitten by bed bugs all over my body. The rooms are a bit older, so there is a strong smell of mold. Even the air conditioning didn't get rid of the smell. The rooms were not clean. The bathroom door looked like it had been a butcher shop. I think when renting out accommodation there should be a certain standard of cleanliness. That is definitely not the case in this accommodation.The air conditioning produced a musty smell.I would look for something else for 500k.
