Shefa Private Pool Villa

Great spot, location is right bang in the middle, the new roads make it easy for walking and cycling to either end of the island east or west. The spot has only 4 rooms with no other hotels next door so this spot is very quiet.The room is nice and spacious, nice bathroom and the yard has the pool and an open kitchen with a fridge.Pros; the host is a legend, super cool and very helpful. Made the trip complete. Bikes are included.Cons; location, it is in the middle of the island. Not a crazy walk but doing it 3-4 times a day it will add up.I could have eaten double the breakfast though I never asked for more. I’m sure if I had asked they would have given it.

The rooms equipped with their private swimming pools are magnificent.The staff are exceptional, a real 10/10.

I spent 5 days in this absolutely incredible villa! The places are even more beautiful in real life than in the photos.Everything is clean and new. The pool cools down well and is in the sun from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. which is great!It's a little far from the city center except that bikes are available for free and so we have them for 5 minutes.And the advantage is that we are really peaceful.There is a great restaurant just 3 minutes away (Jali Kitchen).

Private Pool Villa Gili Trawangan, overall nice comfortable stay, nice rooms, great outdoor area with a private plunge pool…..We are just finishing up a 7 night stay at Shefa, we chose Shefa for the private pool as well as we know the island quite well and knew lots of places we wanted to go to would be super easy by the supplied bicycles.The team at Shefa are a friendly helpful crew, checkin was simple. Arriving to our room it was nice and cool after a decent walk. Shefa is located towards the middle of the island. We easy for us as we were backpacking, would be more difficult if you’re dragging multiple wheelie bags, a horse and cart might be easier for this.From the Villa there are a list of good places to eat which are roughly 5 minutes on bike.5 minutes ride to the sunset side where we mainly hung out at Lazy Coconuts bar and restaurant, good food, good service and reasonably priced for sunset side.Other good places to eat not far from the Villa… Jali Kitchen, My Home and Gili Frame. Jali Kitchen for the win 🏆Good snorkeling from the beach is also 5-7 minute ride, head towards the port side, aim for somewhere near a cafe called Bale Sampan.10 minute ride back to the harbour port for things like good money changer, just south of the port… not the one outside the port. Also.. lots of good bars, cafes and restaurants here as well.Breakfast was more than enough to get your day started… fruit plate for two, tea and coffee, fresh juice and a choice of other breakfast meal style options. Photo of breakfast menu included in this review.Pool was a nice place to cool off, could have been a bit cleaner, but during our stay it was very dry and windy, dirt was blowing around everywhere.Included bikes were so sooo helpful as we used these every single day. Yeah.. they are a little bit beaten up but that’s the islands… lots of bumpy dirt roads beat these bikes up. The team here have a bike mechanic turn up and service the bikes which was good to see.Overall… we had a decent stay at Shefa. We’ve stayed on Gili T many times and know what to expect. Don’t get caught up with the Instagram Influencers showing highly polished and tricked up shots. Gili Islands are an extremely beautiful place, but you’re on an island Indonesia… there aren’t polished perfect yellow brick roads everywhere. You sometimes need to walk the dirty path to find the beauty.We’d probably stay at Shefa again if the upkeep of this place was maintained. This is always the hardest part with accomodation on the islands… things deteriorate quickly here.

My wife and I highly recommend this accommodation. We were very well received. The swimming pool, the outdoor kitchen, the bedroom and the bathroom everything was perfect.The staff were very helpful, but at times a little too intrusive.The breakfast was very nice, but we advise you to order it the evening before so that it is ready and brought back to your room on time because if you order it the same morning you risk waiting a little while .
