We stayed at the Homestay for a few nights. Overall it was ok but we were expecting greta things from the reviews we’d read.The room was comfortable enough and clean but in a slightly run down area, someone tried to access our room while we were asleep (it woke us up when they tried the door). The local restaurant and shops were also readily trying to scan us out of money although this isn’t the fault of the homestay. The WiFi was broken but the driver did offer to let us use his at his houseThe lift from town was ok, provided by the homestay’s driver who looked after us, but be sure to negotiate price in writing on WhatsApp beforehand.Also be sure to get pick up times etc sorted in writing on WhatsApp

The place is quite clean, the service is very good, friendly and the prices are affordable. We are from Surabaya for the Eid holiday, this is the first time we want to go to Ijen as a family. Thank God I got a comfortable homestay close to Ijen. Thank you for your service sir. Imron is a very kind and friendly person who also accompanies us to the top of Ijen. Good luck to you bp. The owners were very nice, but the conditions in the room were terrible (no hot water, fungus on the walls and high humidity). It is also impossible to order return transport and you have to pay a lot to local drivers.

We just have spent time with Ron and his familly and they are so nice. Ron picked up at the harbour Ketapang and organised everything for us to climb on the famous Ijen volcano. Night, every meal, driver, and equipment (mask) for the ascension. His little brother Albi guided us on the volcano to see bluefires and the sunrise on the morning. It was amazing to share this moment with him because he is also minor and he speaks well english. So he explained to us many things about his work and the volcano. He knows the safe way to access to the bluefires and also good spots to take pictures. It was an amazing experience about the volcano and natural phenomenom but also an incredible human experience. Wow, this is a homestay with the friendliest owner I have ever met, being treated to a cup of coffee and fried food while telling stories here and there and sharing experiences is a very comfortable thing before climbing to the top of Mount Ijen

Cheap and cheerful accommodation? Suitable for 4 people. The room is spacious, there are 2 beds suitable for 4 people. For those who want to go to Ijen, the distance is quite close, around 30 minutes. The positive thing is that there is breakfast no matter what time you wake up or arrive at this inn, and the breakfast is delicious so it's 7/10. For places in the alley, you follow the maps so you don't get lost, you just need to confirm with the person renting out the place. If you bring a car, you can park outside but it's safe. Inside the room there is a bathroom. Hehe, when I got there, I got the jackpot, that's how it was. If you want to lie down for a while, it's suitable.
